read a book years ago by i forgot who, he said make noise all the time around a pup. bang pans together make noise when feeding. noise becomes a good thing to them. then when theres no reaction to the noise fire a blank pistol when your far away from them while there eating work closer as the pup becomes comfortable. you'll have no problems with gun shyness he said?
