I am a major Millie Jackson fan, but this was not a good version of the Ned Doheny and Hamish Stuart classic. Millie begins with a boring spoken intro and is off key in the first verse. I admire that she tried to veer a bit from the original was really emphasized harmony rather than a solo focus for the lead. Millie's still my girl but not all hits are homeruns. This one was a foul ball.
