I think the mouse customization market is only just beginning. Sensor position being customizable is a huge W. I don’t own any pwnage mice but that’s definitely a selling point. Other companies can probably achieve that and get lighter over time 💪🏻

I don't know how useful it'd be for the cost. But, it sounds like this mouse could fit the niche market of "tester" equipment for people to find their preference like you mentioned. Outside of boutique or specialty stores though I don't really see the market for that. Really neat that someone went and made a paper concerning optimal sensor placement though! Have you come across one concerning optimal mouse skate coverage and or placement?

    • @JayForsure

i absolutely agree! The reason the S2 is a deal breaker is because the mouse buttons are too high compared to the viper mini or the starlight 12, lower button heights really help me aim so much better

the adjustable sensor is not even close to being a gimmick. the sensor being higher or lower literally changes the game, the way you play and what shots you can and cant hit easily. I really want to try it out but not at 70-80 grams, they shouldve made it at most 60 grams. ill probably wait to see if they put this feature on a mouse thats lighter

That's cool and all, but I wish they would have moved away from garbage ass charging by wire method.
Imagine buying a wireless mouse in 2022 just to use it as wired mouse every few days.

charging dock makes the mouse unusable while charging
AA / AAA are adding weight since they have to have their own shieldiing (which is why they are banished to budget mice basically)
the best solution if you really want to never use the wire is the charging pad technology from the likes of Logitech (powerplay) / basically a form of Qi Charging, but even that is adding weight
also every few days?! its more like every few weeks nowadays with stuff like the logitech Hero Sensors being really energy efficient

@@minutenreis The neat part about charging dock is that you charge the mouse when you don't use it, so you effectively don't run out of battery life.
AA/AAA may add some weight, but frankly, few grams won't kill anyone.
Charging pads are kinda ehhh because of how limiting they are.
