She absolutely is. She is so nice and sweet and brilliant in het work. She became professor at a rather young age and is a role model for many women working at universities including myself ♥️🌸🍀👍😊
I wonder if the stone with the runes on it was some kind of blessing stone, religious or otherwise. Placed to protect the building and perhaps the people within it.
All episodes are available from a YT'er named Reijer Zaaijer on his channel. There's a lot of content besides all 20 seasons of TT & there's a "play all" option for each series...plus Tony Robinson's productions and added extra shows from the Team's members, including their trip to the US when their TV people tried & failed a version of TT...Best part is no interruptions of commercials, tho I subscribed to his channel years ago, & idk if new subscriptions make a difference.
Me and my father found a silver augustus caeser coin metal detecting last week in Worcestershire, minted in Spain in 19bc. Still trying to find it's worth
If you actually did find it, and knew anything.... You'd know a simple Google search would show you how much they sell for... I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, you're gonna be disappointed in the value...
@dabreal82 only 1 ever found in Britain before this, I'm not really bothered about sale value as I'm more astonished with the history ♥️ yes my father actually did find it 👍
There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a kislux .
As Stonehenge is made up of big rocks that no one knows how they got them there, does anyone know what destroyed it ? Those rocks have been pushed from the outside in !! Not like you'd think a rope tied around it and pulled which would need a lot of people and the rock would be on the outside???
1hr 6 mins, sorry love, your completely wrong about london... te Romans were not the first to settle there! it was originally the welsh and it was called Plowonidonjon. Queen Boudica was rulling when the romans invaded and her father was the celtic king of Iceni, the celtic tribes ruled the country over 1000 years, before England was invented by the joinging of clans in 927ad by King Æthelstan scandinavia of with the german anglo saxon invasion, hence our saxon royal family today. if you want to hear what people was speaking at the time, come to wales, as it took the italians over 50 years to beat the silurians in, Caratacus, a Welsh prince, was captured and taken to Rome as a war prize after being defeated in AD 51, as the romans had never fought such a rock hard mofo! after which the hill forte at risca was the last to fall. love n hugs wales... diolch yn fawr! i do hate these sloppy historians...
Romans 10:9 King James Version 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Whoops, looks like you said an "inside thought" out loud. We should probably think about how gross our "inside thoughts" are before putting them out into the world next time, friend.
It is absolutely disgusting, to reduce *ANY* woman, let alone a woman of her intellectual achievements to nothing but a sexual object. This is the height of misogyny. If you used the organ in your head to better purpose than constantly deferring to another one you might find a life you didn’t know was possible but, like too many men, you’re content to let your frontal lobes rot as you hook into the oldest, basest, and most disturbing parts of your brain, and you’re so comfortable with this that you’re happy to show the world your state of intellectual virginity.
I realize this is a TV show so it is not fully accurate, the cavalry was used in battles even in WW1 and the wedge would have been used. Repeating firearms and things like tanks made the cavalry not as useful and deadly to the cavalry a machine gun. Cavalry was used in WW2 but mostly for logistics not to fight against tanks and machine guns.
It seemed to me that military stragedies hadn't evolved as quickly and the weaponry did. It must of been horrific to be one of those poor lads back in the day
Exactly! Several years ago, I went metal detecting, took a break and put it down. I walked a few feet to admire a stream nearby, and found a hand forged barn door handle. 😂

But here's another, is it a rite of passage for a student of archeology to have to DRAW a pit, a trench as they see it, KNOWING we have the tools to intimately document it.
We as a country, could do soooo much better with the mental health crisis. It's very sad indeed. This guy was so obviously mentally ill....so hey lets just throw him in prison for 30 years...thatll fix him. Pathetic and infuriating both. His mother loved her husband and she loves her son so much too. She is trying to fight for what's best for him ...and our f'd up judicial system could give 2 fucks less. Smh...just smh...my heart and my prayers go out to this entire family. My heart breaks for all of them....
You would think that local chieftain or kings would live at the centre of worship points or energy areas making them part of the order of nature that was definitely recognised by it's people or priests of some kind or similar. Who knows .I do think that sone of the so called archeologists really do miss the point when it comes down to expanding their mindset if not the archeologists then the system that they are restricted by. Cos some of what I've come across is absolute nonsense that gets repeated by such closed individuals. I'm all for Graham Hancock at least he's genuine in wanting to push the boundaries of what is a most important subjects.
How did all these sites get buried in mud so fast? In such a way that others didn't come along afterwards to loot the abandoned valuables? I mean if they left their great stuff behind, if they were chased out, it stands to reason the people of the area who followed should have looted the good stuff? This explanation of quick abandonment makes zero sense. More likely a cataclysm befall the land, a muddy flood? Happy digging.
About the barrows.. I think there reading too much into it... To me (yes a nobody with no training) it looks more likely that they were dwellings and used as such as they said but just caught fire killing those within... Instead of digging thru the rubble to find charred bodies the covered it up in a mass grave... Later relatives would come along and place items in remembrance... Just my idea
Sorry but the modern surveying equipment isn't that far advanced. Get LIDAR. By now too many road ways have moved the land only from the air can you get a picture of underneath. Voids in the ground could be a rock. Not a good rock. Just a rock.
when they got over Hadrian's wall, and you can see the Big tree. That's the sycamore tree that idiot cut down in 2023 and went to jail for; I THINK. I'm about 90% sure

I wish you people would quit digging up peoples final resting places! Don't you know grave robbing is wrong? Shame on you for digging people up and stealing their personal items!

Fall asleep to they said. Full of sodding ads I said.
They have to make money & you could buy the Premium if you want to avoid adverts.
If you don't want ads, then get Premium UA-cam. I had no ads.
You can save the video from UA-cam (there are many websites that do this) and then there are no ads.
UA-cam Premium is thee subscription to pay for. Get it, you're worth it.
