Dior gave me a free sample in my opinion Elixir is far better than sauvage ! Monika together with her husband Maciej great video. Also, a request can you do a review on Ariana grande cloud intense ?
I never got the Sauvage EDT, but I have Elixir. Not that I didn't like Sauvage EDT - it's actually fantastic, but I already have so many blue's. Elixir is just a powerhouse, it projects all day. I've done at most two sprays with it and it has lasted in the 18 hour range easily. Plus Elixir has more interesting changes in the scent profile over time, whereas Sauvage EDT lacks any nuance in comparison to Elixir.
The thing is EDT is the safe harbour but with elixir you must be ready for surprises. Elixir definitely changes over time sometimes it smells amazing sometimes just okay. So definitely sample it a few times before investing your money in it.
I don't think this is a fair comparison on test strips because Elixir is extremely strong. It more suitable to be smelled it the air as opposed to be smelled up close
In the current times of designer fragrances coming out mass appealing, it’s nice to see Dior come out with something a little daring and bold and less mass appealing. We have too many mass appealing scents coming out lately
Curly Fragrance also made a street reaction of these 2 fragrances battling it out and in that one Elixir hands out annihalated the original. So it's weird that most people didn't pick it in this video. But in my opinion Elixir is the best. Some perfume lady sprayed it on my hand twice and just 5 minutes later a girl barista complimented me on it.
In Curly’s video she stated that they let the fragrances dry down there. That’s probably the difference. Elixir is super strong when it’s freshly sprayed on
I've other videos of Elixir against the edp and edit versions, this is the first one that it hasn't won. Yes maybe they're just doing the openings. For me it's all about the drydown anyway.
They are both masculine. The difference is confidence. If the edt is a guy with a bike and leather jacket, the elixir is the exact same guy. He has the bike and jacket, but he also knows he doesn't need them.
i think elixir really changes once its on a guys skin and also the key with elixir is to literally only spray like one spray and not more and then wait for like an hour thats when it starts to shine ... but if you spray a little bit too much you ruin it and also the opening isnt the best part i had that experience when i tested it in the store on my arm; i just barely let the mist hit my wrist and after like 1 hour i was absolutely OBESESSSED with the smell of it... then i went to ask for a sample, did like 1 1/2 sprays on my neck and was annoyed for the rest of the eveneing by it because it wa just wayyy to strong and kinda stinging my nose sauvage edt is so mainstream like literally every man smells like that and its just so unoriginal at this point
bro wtf lmaooo same, i jus bought the elixer, at the store i sprayed it on my wrist then when i got back to my car i was obsessed with the smell and couldnt stop smelling it then around an hour later i felt so naseuois and felt like i was gonna pass out its really strong, how many sprays should i do and where ?
I really like the Sauvage line. I have both elixir and edt. Edt is more allround, fresher. could be for all year but mostly for spring and summer because of the freshness. Elixir is perfect for winter and fall. Spicier, warmer, I can really smell licorice which I like. Elixir is more specific, you need to know when - and if - you could / should wear it
I think the thing with scents in general is that when smelled really close by on a paper strip some have an advatange and some are at an disadvantage, but most of the time fragrances are smelled in the air in a scent cloud and that's often different and less harsh/strong compared to putting your nose right next to the smell. So while these videos give a general idea of mass appeal, I think Dior Elixir especially is a scent that shines when smelled from the sillage and not close by.

Just curious if your husband ever uses beard oil and if he's ever thought about reviewing them if he does
Elixir for the win, the EDT isnt my cup of tea. Great video as always 😀
wait some thought EDT is more masculine, some thought Elixir is more masculine, huh?!
Subjective opinion
@@MonikaColognes sure, but if someone wanted to make a decision to buy one after watching this video will probably be even more confused and unsure now lol
@@eliasanderson4216 welcome to subjective opinions xD
Monika! Please please check new LA nuit de l'homme bleu electrique
Where can we get the leather dior sauvage pouch you featured in the latest sauvage elixir vid?
They give it to you when you buy Elixir
@@massx999 so it is inside the box? Or was it a promotional thing when you get it from diors website?
I got a fancy box but no leather pouch
Elixir of YSL Y EDP?
Wish I knew there was a difference before I went for elixir
Completely different 😅
Old always is gold 🔥🔥
I think the Elixir belongs to mature woman… and the EDT to young girls
Has anyone tried Oud de `Bellende by Giuseppe Baldassare ?
Sauvage parfum is the best version of all them.
Sauvage edt have been not performing like earlier batches…Elixir is 💪💪
I made a video about that
@@cologneking7776 👍👍
@@cologneking7776 Yeah i saw that..We had discussions about EDT in your video👍👍👍
@@100piyum oh ok cool. Thanks for subscribing
Elixir all the way
Different channel different results
boss bottled vs versace eros next please
I’ve been using the regular savauge since it came out but apparently I smell like every girls ex bro
Conclusion: theyre both great. Just $60 more for Elixer
The inside of my car smells like Dior Sauvage Elixir
Men love elixir, women edt. Period.
Monika super!❤
I agree with the ladies opinion. Sauvage EDT is good enough for me. Elixir is bit unnecessary tbh. Good quality video 👍👌
Do you use new strips on every girl? Since its corona?
elixir is for old people, edt will always be king , don't waste money on elixir if you're below 35
When I smell Dior Sauvage on my husband I just smell clean laundry on wood. hahahahha! I think I like sweet scents better on him. Like Paco Rabanne Invictus!
Seems to be in most cases the first one to smell is the one liked. The Elixir is classy stand out and rich for 25+ and gives of a heavenly trail the EDT is just a boring and generic deodorant scent for the average under 25 year old douche. Elixir is a customised Bentley The EDT is a second hand Ford Focus with 90,000 miles and a silly exhaust.
Just got Elixer today, I'm 24 years old, but I completely agree with you. The EDT is just the simple blue fragrance and the Elixer is just niche quality. Juice of the Gods!!
Norwegians, cute quiet folks.
