We found a piece of wire brush from fried rice. Luckily, we saw it and reported to the restaurant. All they did is refund the meal amount which was about $30. The wire piece wasn’t that big but it was from metal brush for cleaning the wok. Never again going back to Panda.
that's why you don't go to a restuurant that anyone can be hired, family resturaunt is more trusting because it's on the families name.
Any fricken restaurant can do this including yo mammas restaurant..

I don't think this lady is lying, but I've worked at restaurants and people would put all kinds of crap in the food to get it for free.
When I was younger, there was a woman that planted live maggots in the rice and wanted $100 to not report the incident.
Hard to believe, especially if she had divided this into smaller portions too meaning she was sifting through it. Maybe she isn't lying, but definitely then allowed it to happen for a settlement. I think she really did scare herself not realizing how serious swallowing something like that would be.

In California we had a wire like that come out in our burrito from King Taco. It got stuck in between my husband’s gums and tooth. The company could have cared less.
I hope this brings attention to the way company’s are cleaning their equipment. So dangerous!

When my daughter was 10, I noticed a wire in the burger she was eating. It was from the restaurant’s grill brush. They acted like it was no big deal.
I’m just thankful she didn’t eat it!
They absolutely can take measures to prevent this from happening again. It’d add an extra step, but it’d be cheaper than another lawsuit!

I've eaten at a Panda Express twice and got sick both times ,never again.
You probably have a weak GI system. If you eat out more your body will build a tolerance and even if you do ingest bacteria it won’t make you sick.

If she had chewed her food, she would have noticed the metal. The noodles Panda Express used required people to chew due to their toughness.

Ignore these other replies: I am in my late 30's and have been going to Panda over 20 years. You do have to chew their noodles and I find it impossible to have not noticed something of that length. We aren't talking like a centimeter or something that could have stuck to a noodle and went down with a smaller chewed piece. Some people are gullible idiots who believe everything they see and hear.

The doctor asked her if she had a will written????? How terrifying. Panda Express better pay all of her pain and suffering, and medical bills. I once had the sponge material that Jamba Juice uses to clean its dishes in my smoothie. Fortunately, I felt it in my mouth and spit it out. I have since bought a Vitamix and I make my own smoothies!

I know exactly were this Panda Express is located. I used to eat there sometimes but their food was so awfful & not fresh that I stopped going there. Hope the woman wins cause this was grossly neglient. Stop rushing & do a more through job insuring your equipment is safe to cook in.

I used to work at Cookout and only a manager was able to use out metal brush for the char grill. Once before open, shift change (with no food on grill), and close. This is the reason why

Yes and no, it depends on how long it takes for paramedics to arrive at the home, and if she can't breathe, it's better to just go straight to the hospital and not wait.
I bought smoothies from fast food restaurants take home and pour it into the glass and see 4-5 pieces broken plastic parts of the blender. The blender too old they used until fall apart.
I had eaten at a Chinese restaurant years ago and when I found a rock in the food and pointed it out to the waiter, he just took the rock and threw it to the floor and ignored what I said. He kept looking at me to see if I was going to pay for the food, which I did. But no way would I leave a tip for such lousy service.

I happen to spotted a shiny strand of a scourer pad in my loMein noodles (paid in advance) after taken a couple bites. I pointed that out to the restaurant staffs. They offered to make me another order, but I refused. Thanked them and have not thought about coming back

I got the worst food poisoning from Panda Express. I was sick for over a week. I no longer will eat their food. I went to a location in Hillside Illinois around February.

It's a round brush like a large bottle brush that is pushed into the drain of large kettles to clean them. Like a barrel brush for a gun.
