Compare 2:00 with 6:10. That looks like a fairly large hole between the two upper mounting bolts where mud and other trail debris can get into places it should not be (especially if you do any muddy wheel spinning). Is there a piece to cover that which was not shown in this installation?
Excellent video explanation. I purchased the Tusk fender eliminator because of this video and it works perfectly on my CRF 300L. Thank you very much for taking the time to do this video. Well done.
Ohyea I think I must have just blown the part of the bulb does the tail light cause the brake light still works when pressed, thanks thaught it might have been related, thankyou!
The white license plate uses its own connection and is not tied to the brake light. The brake light will work regardless of if the license plate light is connected.
We have a product spotlight video with more more shots of this fender eliminator kit installed if you want to check that out. ua-cam.com/video/hoZ-YAP7pe0/v-deo.html
Is the subframe different (aside from being welded vs bolted on) than the 250L? Like are you saying it’s for the 300L because that’s what Tusks website says or because it actually won’t fit a 250L? I don’t see why the mounting points would have changed
Just picked up my CRF 300 L last night, gonna do this first. Thank you so much. Excellent video. Nice and slow, and thorough 👍🏻
Good luck!

Excellent instruction video! Thanks.
I would suggest wrapping the wires with protective wire loom.
Great suggestion! Thanks for checking out the video and giving us your input.
Is the a piece included in the kit that covers the hole at 6:00 that wasn't shown?
I'm looking into replacing the bulky plastic in the rear, but I don't like the idea of cutting wiring off the old parts.
if i don't use the white numberplate light will this cause the tail light to not work? ive noticed the brake lights still function? thanks

Full install in details but no broll on what looks like at the end. Thats kinda silly

will this fit on a 250L
Unfortunately, this is designed specifically for the CRF300L.

This makes me want to keep my OEM fender.
Haha it's not bad!
