- I've been living in this 1 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn, NYC for about 15 years. My personal style is minimalist chic with a zen vibe, and my space reflects that. This video was filmed at night. During the day I get very good sunlight in the livingroom/bedroom area. However, the rest of the apartment doesn't get much sun at all since the back faces an alleyway. This video was filmed back in August. I've actually switched things up a little since then. I tend to do that a lot, depending on my mood lol

Thank you so much. I wish I had more natural light though. The only sun we get is from the two front windows. But utilizing lots of lamps with daylight bulbs helps to compensate for lack of natural light, and really brightens a space ❤️

I really love the way you’ve made the best out of a pretty compact space. It’s so lovely and organised. You’ve given me some inspiration on how to be functional and practical with limited space.
Covid meant I had to have a dedicated office/study space for meetings, presentations, etc, so I’ve done loads of de-cluttering and now have a cute space on my enclosed balcony for whenever we need to be on camera.
It’s the focus point of my home now. We all love it 😊
I wish I had a balcony, and lived on a higher floor. I’d do my best to make it a little sanctuary. Although that would be hard in NYC. It’s just so loud here 😩
