After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato's disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world's problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long...

@@Jared_Is_Near She actually still thinks Kazuma is the greatest ever, if just because he's fun. The novels are actually incredibly well written and nuanced, despite the satirical and fun content that the show doubles down on. The novels themselves have excellent world building and character development that makes it one of the best written isekai stories, despite that its a satire on the outside.
So yeah, Iris pretends that she's a silly princess, but is actually the smartest person in the series, and she loves and respects(?) Kazuma because of Kazuma being Shitzuma and having fun in life where she, as a princess who needs to be uber powerful and perfect as the Shining Sword Iris, wasn't ever allowed the chance to be carefree or have fun.
That Kazuma's hamster face was too much... The best konosuba episode (so far, I hope)

This episode delivered some nice Darkness and Claire fanservice towards the end.😍💛 Kazuma in Iris’s body was ready to enjoy the best of both worlds. Though, something tells me he and Iris ended up switching back just when he thought things were about to get good for him.😆
I can pretty much predict what comes next... Kazuma hits time limit and returns to his original body before he could enjoy his 'heaven'. And when that happened he would find himself being beaten black and blue for no reason. Meanwhile Iris will be confused why she was bathing with Claire and Lalatina.

@@thegoose8663 It's also not super clearly presented in the show itself. We don't hear Kazuma's inner monologue at any point. It's just a smash cut. This is something that easily could have been fixed by something like a "What?", read in Jun's deeper voice.
