Charlie Bereal is a soulful musician, artist, composer, Platinum and Grammy Award winning producer, singer, songwriter, guitar player, and multi-instrumentalist from Pasadena, CA. Born in L.A raised in Pasadena C.A.: he started playing music when he was 2 years old at his grandfather's church in Altadena. When he was 16 years old he went into a partnership with his brother Kenneth Bereal. They began to do music on a professional level. They begin to produce and manage writers, producers and artists. He is a highly honored and respected guitar player in the music arena. That's family right there. Jubu started out with his dad [my brother] and me when he was probably 7 or 8. He cut his first song singing lead with us when he was probably 9. At that time the guitar was longer than he was tall. Search here for the Soulful Sons of Zion. I have the album cover and he and Pik Funk are shown.

Without doubt this is how to underplay and overwhelm. Playing for the purpose of the song and how it who touches the listener. Too many time guitarist try to out play or surprise the listen. This is a required course on pocket playing
