You might like Atelier colognes line of fragrances. They are along thr same lines.
They're great but unfortunately they don't last at all
Colonia Essenza is the only one from this house that I own and it’s perfect to my nose. Also, the dry down is so, so good. Great review!
Would you say it’s a good blind buy?

@@jstacks444 it is soapy but not like say a prada fragrance. it’s citrusy, bright & clean & super versatile. It’s very similair to neroli portofino & i would say it’s impossible to dislike. My wife & daughter love the smell of this on me i have over 80 fragrances but if i had to keep just one....

I own Essenza and the original Colonia. I like them both, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Essenza. A fantastic spring and summer scent. I love the opening and dry down. A great fresh and clean smelling scent suitable for casual or formal wear.

Hi Max. I like your videos. I think the GBUUO concept is a good one. But sometimes you it feels like you are forced to give out an bad or ugly when you actually think highly of fragrance. Rather than reviewing fragrances from a single house it would be be fun to apply the concept to a specific style of fragrance. You could pick spicy orientals and tell us the GBUUO. Just an idea!

Love this house - great review. I own 4 fragrances from the line - Colonia, Essenza, Assoluta & Querceria. My favorite is Essenza, but I wear them all. The Querceria is not worn as much but that may change in the fall-winter. This house Definitely produces a more professional lineup... they all work well in an office setting - no fragrance bombs here.
these series r so helpful...through these we get to have overall impression of different offerings from a house n so we can try some of them n decide whether to go for a bottle or not, thanks to u :)
AdP Colonia got me started in my fraghead journey.... own Essenza, Oud, Club, Arancia, and best of the flankers, Leather. All in all my favourite house. Gave AdP Colonia gift sets to my bridal party. Will forever be a special house to me.
Excellent video. I've recently been sampling a lot of the offerings from Acqua di Parma, and I have to say that this house has become my favorite over Creed. I absolutely love Essenza and Assoluta

Great Review Max, Love this house. Most Underrated in my opinion is Quercia. Sexy, blend of citus and the Oakmoss with a velet smoothness to it. Give it a try a Neiman Marcus.
I own note de colonia IV , i think the uniquness of this acqua di parma , im really happy with acqua other fragrances they are just so so creative
Great video, One of the most underrated houses Imo. I've got mandorlo di Sicilia and colonia essenza. I'm looking at getting colonia leather and/or oud. Smelled colonia club other day for the first time and fancied that too!

My top 5 in no particular order are Colonia, Essenza, Intensa, Colonia Club and Colonia Oud.
I really enjoy Mirto di Panarea. Smells great on me. On my skin I definitely get more aquatic and less floral. Great fragrance for summer. Love this house. Your picks are great.

I'm new to the Acqua di Parma lines, I've got only Colonia Essenza and Bu Mediterraneo Arancia di Capri and they're amazingly good. Thanks to this video, I've just ordered for Colonia Club and Colonia Assoluta.
What a Great House 👌🏼 love the blu Cedro, Intenso, the Leather and the Oud - the Oud is so intense & the orange part is absolutely great - a true beast.
Colonia Club is very pungent green & minty

Colonia 1916, Mandorlo (My wife’s favorite), and Eight and Bob are all I wear. I found Acqua di Parma by accident in 2000, and I’ve been a devotee ever since.

Great review and very elegantly done! I was wondering if they changed the cap for the colonia intensa from wooden to goldish color. I can find the colonia intensa but it looks different. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks

I agree on the intensa, very classy and elegant. Someone described as a person who smells like he owns a multi million dollar yacht - its wealthy smelling.

Oud is great..Mirto di Panarea smells like posh shave soap on me which is nice, and just got essenza and very happy with it!
Fico di Amalfi is the best of the house

The word "acqua" has always put me off of this house. My skin already has trouble with longevity. What's longevity like on the blue line offerings? I do like vanilla and almond combos. I'll have to try Colonia Intensa.

The Assoluta (released 2003) was lovely. SO sad it was discontinued. The newest one from the Blu Med line, Chinotto di Liguria is rather nice. The Bergamotto di Calabria and the Mirto di Panarea are my favourites from the Blu Med line. For Bergamot in general you should try the Monotheme Bergamotto and The Different Company Bergamote.

Many people praise colonia essenza, but I personally don't like it at all. It reminds me of bug spray or medicinal soap. Now Colonia I am a huge fan of, for sure one of my all time favourite.. Fico di Amalfi is really nice. Colonia Intensa have nice opening, but the drydown is a let down. Although nice (but nothing special) it becomes a very soft powdery resin like smell. Others I also liked are Rosa Nobile and Lilly of the Valley. Just ok are Arancia di Capri, Colonia Club, Bergamotto Di Calabria, Mirto di Panarea, Chinotto Di Liguria, Quercia, Yuzu and Colonia Pura. Didn't like at all Colonia Essenza and Cipresso di Toscania.
Great job Max, for me the Ugly is Colonia Club, the bad would be mostly the Mediterranean blue bottle line based purely on the lack of performance. Overrated for me is the Essenza as I find it to be nice, but there are so many other barbershop scents I would prefer over it. Colonia would be the the Good. It has passed the test and remains as one of the best all time citrus scents ever. Really timeless to me. Underrated would be Intensa. It is probably the best performer in the line and it can we worn 365 days a year.
I agree with your 'ugly' selection Ryan. Not a fan of that one.

Thanks Mate this is a great series and I find it very informative. However I find you repeat yourself unnecessarily. If you cut this out, it will make presentations even more sharp than they already are.
It’s difficult to remember what has been said over a 17 minute video. Max doesn’t use a script and some things are quickly repeated for emphasis. Incredibly, he’s given a great snapshot of 14 fragrances in 17 minutes. How much shorter do you want the details to be? Just a list of fragrances perhaps?!

Fico di Amalfi,Mandorlo di Sicilia and Bergamotto di Calabria is what i got from Acqua di Parma atm , but i really want to try the 2 new fragrances Colonia Mirra and Colonia Ebano.
waltherP99BG I haven't tried Mirra yet but I own Ebano. Very woodsy with a strong pepper note in the opening.
Sorry i think the first colonia genre came with eau.....de Cologne. Yes, Kolnisch Wasser 18th century, 4711. Water from the city of Cologne in Germany.
Wonderful review. Absolutely this is a great perfume house. I love the Leather, Oud and colonia intensa. Very beautiful.
I prefer Tom Ford, but Colonia is a stunningly beautiful scent.

Excellent video as always Max. I was really interested in this one because AdP is one of my favorite houses. Mirto di Panarea was actually my first niche retail purchase. Not a fan of Cedro. I haven't sniffed Mandorlo. Colonia Assoluta is my favorite from the 'clear' bottles. Quercia is my favorite from the 'Brown' bottles. Fico is my favorite from the 'Blue' bottles. I think I have 9 of their offerings.

is it just me or most of the line except for colonia oud dont really proyect alot , ive tried lots of them smell great but poor proyection and longevity .

I bought the colonia and find it very strong...
Have the iris one which I stopped wearing for the same reason... Really want to find something which sits well on my skin from this brand
Colonia takes me to Crema, Italy
ADP Fico Di Amalfi is too feminine & dated to me. Maybe the Jasmine note is why. I ordered the decant through Scentbird and I am leery of ordering anymore from the ADP line. Do you guys know if any of the ADP Blue line is similar to Tom Fords Mandarino Di Amalfi or more of a Neroli type?

i love acqua di parma i have many perfumes in my collection,colonia essenza is my signature scent but i must say the blue medditeraneo line is a totally waste of money.except fico di amalfi which is the only i would buy again all the rest are super synthetic,low quality for this high price and most important they have veeeery low longevity and sillage

The Ugly is to see on Fragrantica that most of the Acqua di Parma’s scents are listed on “WEAK LONGEVITY “ 😑 and I seriously want to get one haha .
