Kinda having doubts about about Ruby's parentage in the main series .I mean a man getting over his divorce so quickly and be with another women right afterwards just doesn't happen.
Yang is two years older than Ruby... and who knows what was going on with their relationship, maybe they'd been growing apart for ages or whatever. Tai did say that Raven's faults were "what tore our team apart" after all. It doesn't really surprise me that Tai would go to Summer for comfort when Raven finally snapped and left, and that maybe they had even had a little romance before Tai chose Raven. Even just one year can be a very long time for some people. And besides, I don't think it was ever stated that Tai and Raven were actually married, just that they had a daughter together. And that supposedly, Raven left Tai and Yang very soon after Yang was born.
Maybe it was just a one night thing with Raven and then she completely left and only came back to give Yang to him. Then Tai not being able to take care of a baby would have probably asked for help from Summer then they fell in love they two years later Ruby was born.

Kinda having doubts about about Ruby's parentage in the main series .I mean a man getting over his divorce so quickly and be with another women right afterwards just doesn't happen.

Yang is two years older than Ruby... and who knows what was going on with their relationship, maybe they'd been growing apart for ages or whatever. Tai did say that Raven's faults were "what tore our team apart" after all.
It doesn't really surprise me that Tai would go to Summer for comfort when Raven finally snapped and left, and that maybe they had even had a little romance before Tai chose Raven. Even just one year can be a very long time for some people. And besides, I don't think it was ever stated that Tai and Raven were actually married, just that they had a daughter together. And that supposedly, Raven left Tai and Yang very soon after Yang was born.
Maybe it was just a one night thing with Raven and then she completely left and only came back to give Yang to him. Then Tai not being able to take care of a baby would have probably asked for help from Summer then they fell in love they two years later Ruby was born.
My grandfather got back into the dating game two months after his wife passed so it's not completely out there
He's known Summer for years. Plus I bet she had schoolgirl crush on Tai but didn't say anything because he liked Raven. Besides, two years isn't exactly quick.

sefirot57 This is merely a comic based around a fan theory (which I support) because it is still somewhat vague on whether Taiyang was really the birth father or just a person who took on the father role in the place of Qrow.
If Qrow was Ruby's dad then Ruby and Yang wouldn't even be sisters... like AT ALL. They'd just have grown up near each other because of being the daughters of a team of close friends. They'd be like adoptive cousins or whatever.
Qrow has absolutely no blood relation to Ruby, he's only her uncle because A: he's best friends with her dad, and B: he's Yang's blood uncle.

I understand that sure, people want to ship Qrow with someone, and the only people who make sense for that are Summer Rose and Winter Shnee, but even then it doesn't make sense because we have NEVER MET OR SEEN OR ANYTHING Summer Rose! We know nothing about her except that she'd Ruby's mum and that she was a great mother to Yang and Ruby when they were young.
Taiyang IS Ruby's dad, and I seriously don't get why it's "vague" that that's a fact
Cassidy Marsh There’s also the fact that Monty Omm himself on twitter confirmed that Ruby and Yang are actual half-sisters with the same father and different mothers. Which means that if Qrow is Ruby’s biological father, then he would also have to be Yang’s biological father. So, unless Qrow had Yang through some incestuous affair with Raven, then he’s definitely not Ruby’s father.
On the volume 4 is sure than Tai is Yang's father so... yeah this video is wrong...
