Haven’t been on here for sometime but just like always, you never disappoint black Pen. Thank you so much Temba for opening up and sharing so much. The LORD continue to bless and fortify you.
Well said Skeem, silimele as a country as specially black and only us can fix all this wrong. We are probably the only people abaphilela imanje & yet ezinye izinhlanga bayakha for future. Dankie Grootman ❤🎉
The halfway houses issue is really painful. Skeems question is valid why government doesnt give jobs to ex convicts because they their system rehabilitated them, its hypocritical to of them to expect private sector to hire them...
I'm glad pen your invite intelligence knowledge wisdom guy like your skeem GP themba lukhele my role model one of people I'm looking up too I'm looking forward to see my two fellow grootman engaging ❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. This country really needs some intentional living in many spheres. If our mindsets could be aligned to these, we might have a better future.
Iyooh Bra Themba ,you have explained it in details .I thought is easy to study at prison but Bra you made it clearly .I hope that our kids dnt end up ka daar
To people making noise about Vusi Thembekwayo being smart...Meet SkeemGP. Simple language. Simple explanations. Relatable. Easy. Intelligence at the highest level.
This was a great interview-educational, very informative, and eye-opening. I've learned a lot. As the saying goes, 'Those who have ears must listen.' There's an African proverb that says, 'Those who know must teach.' Thank you, Brother Skeem GP, and Penual the Black Pen!
Dope conversation. This got me thinking about how "the police and society should show love to criminals" yet the show most wanted treats criminals or suspects just as how a regular police would treat or handle the situation. We need to be relialistic about the fact that villains and victims can't get the same treatment and privileges, yes in an ideal world there should be efforts to heal both ends but that could results in victims turning into future villains
Greetings kind sir. Social construct and the township concentration camp has bread the situation we see currently. We require positive escapism for our kids, facilities to play, learn and create. KuRough!!! Safa saphel' isizwe esimnyama...
The Black Power Movement Viva Skeem Viva ....we vote for you on basis of Crime, Corruption, Gander Base Violence, Drugs and giving ex-prisnors a chance
How do we get prisoners to stop beating, raping and killing each other? Should we allow prisoners to be isolatedby choice, if they are willing to pay a premium? To avoid being violated?
First question: Incentivise rehabilitation, reward them for taking part in rehabilitation activities. Second question: Yes, that way its a win/win situation. keep the thugs together and make money off the elite inmates.
We need one hard labour to be brought back, secondly no prisoner should have not rights to choose activities. Thirdly we need to over reform job programs for prisoners who have proved to be reformed. Fourthly there should be different prisons for different crimes that would stop prison violence
PENUEL JUST HAVE A PHASED INTERVIEW - BREAK THIS CONVERSATION INTO A SERIES. I too am interested in everything from 1:38:58. Crime in South Africa has an interesting psychology. Its there in the book Still Grazing by Hugh Masekela. A roundtable on the topic is needed.
Thanks for clarifying lento ye Life sentence. There has been alot of misinformation about it, most people saying you have to serve 12 and others saying 12 and half.
And the government won't allow things like this to be broadcast, because they know. We should share more content like this and send it to our younger sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, and criminal friends, or else we are still far from change.
Universe works in ways you would not understand, i was asking myself a lot of question about Skeem izolo because every sunday i wait for his episode. Then today i find the episode asking the very same questions. Mina i have never heard the story of his arrest.
Read the power of habits by Charles Duhigg it will give you a bit of understanding why we are in this mess in SA and it seems like it's only gonna get worse and more importantly how we can cure it

But if you're smart enough you'll understand ukuthi skeem on his podcast he interviews ex-prisoners n he even mentioned that some of this information he gets it from interviews on his podcast from ex convicts
Great episode.. lets get it clear Crime doesn't pay.. You get sentenced e.g. 7years 3.5 incarcerated and 3.5 you serve it outside via Parole And it will take you 10 years to expunge your criminal record. Not everyone will be lucky like skeem Gp and Ma-Orange.. And the sad thing is that You dont need to apply to enter the prison doors just be wise
