The audio quality is absolutely horrendous here. Mics volume is all over the place depending on who’s talking and the quality of the streamed audio of whoever recorded the discord call or whatever this was is really low too. Especially Plum, poor man sounds and looks like his audio and video was ripped straight from a VHS tape
it is an issue we are aware of and have been trying to tweek from session to session... as of now, it's mostly streaming Discord through OBS, but not sure why what i can hear through my head phones doesn't translate to the recording.
@it might take a bit more work but instead of recording the discord call you could try everyone recording their own video and audio themselves and then someone compiles them into one video. Y’all could do a clap or something like that at the start of the session to get an easy starting point for matching up the video and audio tracks. That would remove a lot of the bitrate loss and artifacting discord does while streaming (especially for people watching multiple streams at the same time) Even better but slight more cumbersome you could record the audio through discord but record the video of your talking heads through OBS so the video stays top quality too
