- This is a time-lapsed abstract painting demonstration on how I use acrylics, a catalyst wedge and a free style flat brush on stretched canvas. This is NOT a "How to Paint an Abstract Painting" video, but hopefully will give you inspiration and ideas for your own DIY abstract painting.
Adjust the settings on the video to watch a slower version and to gain a better understanding of my technique.

TriArt and Golden Fluid Acrylic Paint
Free style flat brushes
Silicone catalyst wedge (W-06)

I get in a trance each time I watch you. So beautiful
Really Mesmerising 😍😍😍Red.. Pink and Purple makes even more Attractive 👍👏👏
Ohh I love this! This catalyst technique intrigues me!
I love your spontaneity in the colours you use. Also you don't stick to same old shades each time. Thank you for being so open in answering the queries on do you wait for them to dry and do you use mediums or not. Very honest and helpful!
I can watch you work all day. I love the results every time. The colors the composition all if it !
Thank you 😊
So fantastic! Your work is elegant and bold. Your process is fluid and detailed! So great!!!
what an amazing painting! 🌱
Beautiful and playful work. You sure do inspire! I have a practice board and go into the art room everyday and try a swipe or two or three. Still haven't got it done yet, however I will keep plugging away at it. Taking my paints to Mexico with me for the winter so there will be no excuses not to work at it October to April. Please keep posting!

Amazing
Wow...this is soooo awesome! :)
You have such an eye for composition, and I just love how you treat white space in your paintings. These are brilliant. Btw, what do you do with the sides of your canvas? Do you paint them black, white, or leave them? Thank you!
Thank you so much! I do paint the sides based on the white space colour, so in this case white but if I do a grey or black background I will paint the sides differently :)
Hermoso felicitaciones
Gorgeous! Is there any primer or medium on the canvas or is this the result of pure wedge? 😮
Canvas is primed with gesso but other than that just fluid acrylics and the wedge :)
I love your work! Can I ask if you have to allow any drying time that we don't see in the time-lapse so that your colours don't mix when you don't want them to?
The first few layers are always wet to allow blending and the final layers are usually added after drying
Beautiful as always! Have subscribed 😍😍😍
thank you!
Muito lindo amei 😍
Belle travail
So gorgeous! Do you use a transparent white?
I use both Titanium White and Zinc White :)
Did u mix these acrylic paint with any medium or water?
Neither - I use fluid acrylics which are high flow.
@@CourtSeniorART so i have a question: is that posible with normal acrylic amsterdam? Or that must be melted?🤓
@@TheMissEvel add a fluid medium found in art supply or craft stores
Hello. Somewhere on you tube I came across your online course for how you paint. I have not been able to fine the information again. Can you post it again or advise how we can find out more. Your work is a joy to watch. I do not sell my paintings but would enjoy the challenge of your work. Thank you. Barbara Bishop in New ORLEANS
Hi Barbara, I actually don't offer an online course. I only post time-lapsed demonstrations. :)
Hi, very nice piece of work! what kind of paint brand and canvas do you use?
All my products are listed in the description :)
Wow, awesome painting! I’m a new subscriber to your channel, congrats! I sometimes do art videos too by the way, keep up the great work!
Dhanoe Ard thank you so much!!
@@CourtSeniorART heyy, wanted to know that do u wait for the paint to dry after doing 1 color or do you just keep going while it's still kinda wet,btw love your videos💛
Unbelievable and worth sharing.
Stay safe.

thank you!
You welcome.
Do you let the paint dry at any time before applying another layer?
No, the paint needs to be very thin and wet in order to blend into one another
@@CourtSeniorART do you mix your paint with something to thin it?
