Because a lot of the times there is actually more product in there than they say. Eg what the beauty news tested with the makeup breakup etc. Your inventory is goals and I would hope to also have a downward trend, but I fear through received declutters my numbers went up this year again. I also only bought two palettes this year and with panning my numbers in eyeshadow pans only went up by 8.

Except lipsticks, I think they often count the part that needs to be dug out in the weight too. Unfortunately it takes a long time to finish makeup items, but we just need to keep going!
