I love how he includes different dimensions, like using the environment as part of the art, and childish drawings combined with very realistic illustrations. The way he crosses those boundaries creates a very strong impact. I like it when art bends your reality.

Thank you for posting this! People who clammer on the identity of Banksy need to realize that part of the art is the hidden identity of the artist. There is a certain aura that comes along with being anonymous and the beauty of the work doesn’t change because you know who did it.
A friend of mine recently commit suicide Banksy was his favorite artist, his favorite piece was Butterflies Girl he even had it tattooed. I never knew about Banksy until him, I had seen pieces before but never knew they were his specifically, his expressions of art are beautiful very touching. I appreciate art in every form ♡ thanks for sharing

Genius, so many overpaid hacks churning out the same stuff. Banksy raises his own bar challenging himself and our perceptions with almost every new work. He revived and reminds me of some of the great street art of the 80s, (Haring and that master shadow, scribble, drip in black guy/ can't think of name) I also felt one with the creation/shredding frame at auction. Talk about art creating a dialogue. LOL
I loved that piece that shredded itself! It was a piece of visual art that unexpectedly turned into performance art. And I think you're thinking of Jean-Michel Basquiat!

I was speaking about these black shadow, squiggle/drip figures usually beside doorways, entrances (near 42nd Street bus lane from Lincoln Tunnel) or under bridges or overpasses. Thanks for amazing video, which brought banksy art to me. I heard about banksy when the news about shredded painting emerged, but that was about it. Turns out he is really fruitful artist. Some of his works really "clicked" and I saw myself or society's problems. Also what amazes me how subtly he conveys his message. No need to know who the person is. People are boring and pretty much the same. What they do is interesting. Banksy is about what this person does.

Iv just read Banksy is selling art work to raise funds for the NHS.This is marvellous as they work so hard especially through the coronavirus. It’s such a same that we have to rely on wonderful people instead of our government supporting the NHS
