I was actually amazed on your 2nd climb attempt, i was the slovenian that was 1:20 in front when you started and rode with you till the end. Beacuse I was completely empty on my second attempt. Still couldnt let you win that sprint final haha
Honestly love watching these race recap with great commentary and excellent editing. Cat. A, C or E - The pace might not be the same, but the journey and the experience is the same and you deliver very well. 🙂 Keep 'em comming.
Great 2nd race, and congrats on your power increase! Tip: Try getting out of the saddle for the sprint; you might find a little more power and if you settle back onto the seat your cadence should be higher to push through with the power ;o)
Benji…that’s was absolutely amazing! You have inspired me to try this out and challenge my self. Hopefully one day I’ll be riding alongside you. Cheers!
Are you going to try out racing on TPV?! The racing dynamics are much more realistic- it includes wind, braking, true to life draft cones, inertia, rotational mass, height, etc! The races are very dynamic and tactical!
I hope you have someone to ride with you the climb Teide. I saw at myself once, someone overtook me before a 1.5km 7.5% climb and I went up it almost 5km/h faster than normally, from 15.6 to 20km/h
I would often get foot cramps, but once I stopped strapping my shoes on tight I had seldom suffered from them. I found that lowering pressure from tightly tied or strapped shoes reduces foot and toe cramping.
Everybody rides slow on Zwift because they are all doing zone 2 most of the time. It took me a few years to figure that out but zone 2 really gives you gains.
I've never used Zwift, but I think it should incorporate the rider's body weight into its programming, particularly when simulating climbing segments. On climbs, a rider's watts per kilogram (W/kg) becomes far more significant than on flat terrain. For enhanced realism, Zwift could emphasize this dynamic more prominently in the game. I assume riders are already required to input their body weight before a race? However, this approach has a potential downside: it might make cheating too easy. For instance, a rider could simply enter a lower body weight than their actual one, giving them an unfair advantage and allowing them to breeze through challenges like Mount Zwift
Zwift does use body weight actually, which is why I get smashed by others on the climbs. It uses my real weigth which I put in, 110 KGs, and because of that I'm at a massive negative disadvantage on the hills, as w/kg is what matters on climbs, both in real-life and on Zwift. Hey, it's on me to lose more weight. Yes, cheating is possible through this system by entering a lower weight but I don't care too much. I race against myself, to get better and better.

Yeah, since that race, I strapped them less tight and haven't had the issue anymore. 😄
Allez Benji
Ride on 🤙
Allez benji
I haven't even watched this yet and am already PSYCHED

Mickey Mouse or not, you won it!
great effort! do you use a fan while cycling?
Yes. JetBlack Trainer Fan.
Surrey Hills should be interesting, done it in FRR 🤮
Did you just take on the supertug position on that downhill.😅
Yes, stopping pedalling above 54 kmh puts your rider in supertug position.
You’re such a drama queen…very well done, great power numbers
Sterk!
Nice.
Cofadis should of signed you at the same time as Aranburu
Should realy keep cadance while seated at 85-90 it wil make your life easyer

Benji you need to start lifting weights for your upper body. You will loose some fat and will have better cardio
