I actually like the sloppy sound of the official version better but DAMN why didnt they use that ending riff? Its one of the most heavy shit i ever heard...
I really can't stand choosing music just because it's heavy. Or arguing about what metal band is heavier. To be heavy all you gotta do is growl and play detuned stuff with power chords fast and then slow it's not hard
Heaviest band I know is Acid Bath...check them out

Just love the studio version and when you're fucking bottomless, listen to the demo versions, theyre great, some people need a little NIN kind of feeling about music, like 50 versions of the same song in remixes with all kind of bullshit and the official ones, which are great for people entering the rabbit hole of really good bands
Yeah I think the official version is the better one. There are too many unnecessary parts in this demo. It just doesn’t flow very well. The demo is interesting though. Make you think about their creative process.

Slightly different vibe going for it here, seems a bit more classic metal although with a good amount of funk!

It basically was still the 80s, this was recorded in the year 1993.
If the ending of this song where Jonathan is screaming “I’m blind” was in the final version it would be much better

Prefer the Are You Ready on this version, and it’s so awesome with how heavy it is, but it needs the original albums vocals and softness in the verses
