The Awakening - Arrival & Departure of our teams - Bendigo Easter Festival 2024

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Chinese Drumming, Chinese Folk Dancing, Chinese Music & Chinese Martial Arts teams for their dedication in rehearsing and presenting a captivating array of performances at the Bendigo Easter Festival. Their efforts have beautifully showcased Chinese culture in our community.
In this endeavour, we are not only celebrating the vibrancy of Chinese traditions but also forging connections between the rich heritage of the Chinese community and the diverse tapestry of modern-day Australia. Through the magic of video, we can effortlessly share this cultural celebration with those unable to join us in person at Bendigo.
A special acknowledgment goes to the Bendigo Chinese Association (BCA) for their exemplary hosting, once again delivering a remarkable event that brings together enthusiasts of Chinese culture from across Australia. Special shout out to Kellie Miller & Clinton Miller from BCA for their leadership to grow the community of lion dancers & dragon dancers attending each year. The group lovingly known as "I'm going to Bendigo Easter Festival" now has 600 enthusiasts thanks to both of you.
To our dedicated junior lion and dragon dancers, folk dancers, musicians, martial artists and their supportive parents who tirelessly drive them to training sessions. Special shout out to Xavier and his mum Michelle from BCA’s junior lion dance team who said hello to me at Rosalind Park:
