Complex these blueprint videos are great, this one especially is one of my favorites. I wasn't even aware of Scooter Braun but a lot of his wisdom I see the honesty and truth into it and it relates to my own situation. I'd love to see you guys do a Blueprint on somebody where you get a look at their everyday process, how they work in a day-to-day. We all know how successful people live, how many cars they buy, but you don't ever see what they do in a full normal day. The more you can humanize people, especially successful or famous ones, the more people will be impacted because they know it is not unobtainable. Keep up the great work Noah, thank you for letting your interviewees speak so much instead of asking superfluous questions :)

It's temporary: watch a video, feel inspired, your inspiration is depleted. Hear some words, feel hope, your hope suddenly gets lost. But Scooter is a man that inspires to the point that his words can't leave your head: in some way, years later, his words from this interview, or the things he has said in the past or future or present, will come back to you. He is a living inspiration. He doesn't understand how much hope he gives to some people. To the wisest, youngest man living today: Keep it going; we all have your backs like you have ours.

Swift's six albums that the label owned, resulting in her Tumblr tantrum.Whatever issue Swift has with him or any of his clients should've been handled privately like an adult, not for the entire world to see. not to say she shouldn't own her masters, but at the end of the day when she had the opportunity to get them back, she decided to walk away instead accepting the deal that she should have. If anything i respect him, his wife, and his clients even more after this. I hope you have a positive and productive day. :)

This was one of my favorite episodes. I always wrote off Scooter Braun in my head as just some guy who backed Bieber's career and because that wasn't the music I was into, I never appreciated the story behind it or the story after it. When I watch Blueprints on people I don't recognize or haven't heard of, I subconsciously listen in a little more because they seem mysterious or intriguing just because I hadn't heard of them. But I realize that even for people who I think I know on the most superficial of pop culture awareness levels, I should want to listen to their story just as much and this is a great example that everyone has a story you can learn from. I gained a lot of insights from this interview and your questions were really good, especially that "what's your ultimate number" question and his response to that. I continue to have deeper appreciation for this series and your interviews.

I am blown away! IMO...By far the best Blueprint to date. You can see why Scooter is so successful, he is down to earth, yet has the brains and drive to take his business to the highest levels. Kudos to Complex, my favorite video series you produce. Please keep up the great work. Noah is great interviewer.

This is great!! The only reason I ran across this was due to looking at a JD interview and he mentioned Scooter once worked for him. This story is great.

i study music industry management in London and i had a stigma against this guy because i thought he doesn't care about music and tries to squeeze as much money out of justin possible, but after watching this my opinion of him is so much higher than before and has been really inspirational.

But I wonder if these artists could have studied music industry management themselves. They probably could so that they wouldn't need some Scooter.

I don’t know much (yet) about Scooter, and I paused in less than a minute in to write this, because I just have to say this whole idea and concept of a blueprint is just pure genius and I am so stoked to have stumbled across this! Instantly. I didn’t even need to watch it to know it’s gold. Now that, that’s success lol.
