How to solve any slide puzzle quick and easy (3x3, 4x4, 5x5...)

I used to hate these things but sometimes they are required in video games.
I also hate watching a 15-minute video for something that can be explained in 3 minutes.

Last row i always get 48-47 in 7x7, or 24-23 in 5x5... What should i do?

Just follow the steps for a 3x3 at that point. It doesn't make a difference what size you originally started from. Even if it's only 2 pieces that are out of place you might still have to move all 9.
