Damn you're really doing this. I'm so proud of you. You're a black woman!!!! This is inspiring for our people. We need more of our people to be self sufficient. All I can say is AMEN!!!!!
Please get a respirators and industrial gloves to protect your skin and lungs from the fiberglass and epoxy. Fiberglass is one of the most silent but deadly materials.
Nice. Looks great. I've done that same thing with a hole. Had to make it bigger and ended up screwing another board behind so the drill bit had something to bite into. I simply could not control the hole saw without it.
I know people who just use deep-dish foil pans and cookie sheets from the dollar store or kiddie pool for their shore drain, lol Safe Travels Peace & Blessings One Love
P.s. use a regular drill bit to creat. Pilot hole then use the hole to direct you large circular bitif you have anymore wholes to drill in the future... keep up the great work i should my wife your videos we cant stop watch yiur progress 👍👍
This is great but I do have some concerns that might cost you issues in the future. 1. How do you plan on having a slope do the drain. 2 the seal you created for your drain i think would be better if it had a lip or did you fiber glass over the floor in to the drain. Water is never your friend. 3. Do you.plan on using a concrete mix to make a mud floor before you add the shower pan or are you just relying on the fiberglass... I'm not trying to deter you. I just know. Water is definitely not a good friend too many build and Hope before you continue on. And some of these things might come thought. ..
@@thebrightside7015 thanks for sharing your concerns. The things I put on the side will drain the water away from the sides & guide it towards the drain and i will park on a slope or get something to boost up my front tires while parked so that the water can go towards my drain. I did fiberglass over the pvc drain hole & i will cut a hole through the fiberglass where that drain is, place my drain in that hole & seal the drain into that hole. I covered the pvc drain with fiberglass so that when i put my drain in, the lip of the drain will sit on top of the fiberglass creating a better seal. I am not doing a concrete mix or mud floor, just the fiberglass pan, the fiberglass pan i made is similar to an rv shower pan that you could find on Amazon, except mine is custom to the shape that I needed.
Also not trying to critique, anything. I love your work and I think it's amazing how far you've come. I just want to make sure you check your p's and q's. On protecting what you've done so far.
@@Nicole215 thanks for sharing your concerns! The bus will be well ventilated when I shower and I will also have a dehumidifier in the bus, and the walls and the floor will be completely waterproofed so no moisture should be able to seep through 😊
there will be walls and a top around the toilet so no water will be getting in the toilet area. All water will drain around the toilet frame. I just put fiberglass in the toilet area in case there is a spill, so i can remove the toilet and easily clean everything out (i will be doing a composting toilet)

Just my luck coming across a DIY for my camper. I'm creating a bath/shower too and this looks achievable for me to try. You're gorgeous BTW.

The build is coming along nicely! The moisture won't cause the wood to mold, right? I want you to be safe. ❤️ 🤗 Have a blessed week!
