What I love about this song is that it makes Robin and John just seem like little kids playing in a backyard. No loss of innocence yet, just two kids playing around and trying not to get caught by a parent.
Roger did such a great job on the Robin Hood movie. Hands down the best Disney movie ever, just for the sake of the music. Especially the song "Not in Nottingham."

Roger, one of the best story tellers of our time. Taking a bunch of nonsense words and giving you something you can enjoy, hum along, and just have a good time. One of the best parts of the Disney movie, and the commercial ain't bad either.
Disney Robin Hood is THE best animation ever with the best voice acting talent ever compiled for one film, and the greatest songs of any disney movie ever. A perfect overall production. Every single character's voice actor was perfectly cast.

Roger Miller's song of Robin Hood and Little John is a good memory. Hearing this and watching the VHS Tape with their Mom and the our kids was a good time. Growing up is a part of life but sparking memories of yesterday is heart warming and like a good cup of coffee on a cold day. so says one of the elders.............
Awwww. This is so sweet. I think it's literally been forty years since I heard this song as a six year old boy. We had a Disneyland record on vinyl for this movie.
Willie Nelson had purchased a ticket to fly to Roger’s funeral, Willie made it to the airport and was so emotional that his manager and family told him it was best if he didn’t board the plane. Roger and Willie had a bond like no other.
most companies (Disney) don't make things with soul like this anymore for children...it's not fair to them. I have no clue how this never makes any lists of the greatest Disney movie songs. Literally one of the best.
A) squeakers too busy with let it go
B)probably to old for any squeaker to know
C) 55 seconds is kinda short
Because the movie is so old.
