    Enjoy your vids and they led to me to start customizing my 2015 EZGO TXT 48. Started as a customization project and turned into a complete teardown and restore project. Can't wait until its done.

    Nice install, and i like that fuse block. I've got everything grouded to a machine screw currently. Seems to work well, but it looks kinda shady. Needs to be replaced. Thanks 👍

    Nice install! I would recommend an inner baffle to isolate the rear side of the speaker. You need this for better sound and bass punch. 🔊🔊

    I have same fuse box but I am running the 10LOL reducer 4 wire , I have a question about ground. Would I run the reducer ground to battery then to fuse block. Thanks

    Do I need to add an antenna to this unit or is the supplied antenna jack going to be enough for radio stations??

    • @Fentertainment

      It doesnt matter what brand of cart it is, basically the same install. Locate where you want to mount the speakers, drill the holes and install them. Run the wires to the radio. Mount the Radio. Wire it to the dc converter and fuse block.

    I would try and add some type of enclosure behind the speakers. The bass will be better and the overall sound will be better. But I guess for a golf cart it’s perfect.

    Please tell me what tool you used to cut the plastic circles.
    I like that it can get into tight spots. I only have an electric jigsaw.
    .
    Do you think it would be worth using 2 pieces of Dynamat insulation cut into circles to replace those white gaskets.
    Placing 1 on each side of the plastic so that the plastic body does not vibrate while the speakers are on?
    Im not sure if Dynamat is waterproof but I would still appreciate your opinion.
    .
    What type of material did you use to attach all of the electrical components together? I doubt you would use metal.
    I did not see a fuse after the relay and before the main input to the down voltage converter. Was there one?

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment Рік тому

      I usually do a fuse before the converter, I didn't show it on camera but a new video will be out Monday showing one. The tool is a rotozip for cutting sheetrock. It was a trash day find that was missing the on/off switch. I used aluminum angle to place all the components on the side of the frame.

    I'm trying to find a good location for speakers on my DS. Did you have any concerns or issues with water getting into the speaker? I don't use my cart in the rain but sometimes it rains when I'm out and I'm worried about rain collection in the speakers.

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment Рік тому

      This one belonged to a neighbor down the street. However Ive done multiple carts with the speakers in this location. Ive never had a problem with them. Just make sure you use marine speakers if you plan to mount them in that area.

    If I use an inverter that has the keyswitch wire will that eliminate the use for the relay?Thanks and great job!

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment Рік тому +1

      You can but they still run with the key switch off. They have a constant 12v wire like a low amperage one to run clocks or radio station presets.

      @@meatball5244888 so I actually did it on my own. I have an 03 Club Car DS, it was a process, but think I figured it out… what kind of cart are you driving? I could help out. The biggest difference are there were 4 connectors on the back of my ignition, you definitely need a volt meter to find the one that goes hot when the key is on

      I have a 2023 ezgo valor gas powered. The easy part of mounting everything is done. Now I need to figure out how to wire everything correctly. I'm running a radio/amp both with an individual fuse or capacitor. Front light bar, rear light bar, red glow lights (zombie lights lol), and a ground light kit. All going to a rocker switch panel. Just needing to know if I need to run a separate battery and if I need the relay or fuse box ( what size fuse for each device?)

    I am installing this setup with the fuse box, reducer and relay on my golf cart. I have a question.. I am installing a pioneer stereo with some marine speakers, no amp. What size fuse should I use for stereo in fuse block? Thanks for this video, very easy and straight forward.

      I have a question if you can help me out.. My stereo harness has Black, Red, Yellow wires besides the speaker wires which I know where those go. It also has a blue/white for remote which I don't have. So the red goes to + on fuse block does the black go to - on fuse block or is that chassis gnd? also what about yellow? is the yellow constant going straight to positive on battery ? Thanks in advance!

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment 9 місяців тому +1

      @@danrg3000Black is ground, Red is ignition power, Yellow is contant power for memory, Blue/white is amplifier turn on. If you dont have a amp just cap it off. I usually just connect both the red & yellow together on my installs because the converter will turn on and off with the cart.
