Based off experience nothing works better than an sp7 spirit box. I place mine inside a Faraday pouch to eliminate radio interference. That way you don't confuse the radio with spirits talking. I use Am on the second fastest sweep rate in reverse for best results. I've had literally full conversations where the sane vocal tone holds over dozens of sweeps answering questions intelligently. If you are in the presence of spirits it will work no doubt if used properly.
