    Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth. I’m 65band my husband 68 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth with an obama care insurance and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for us this early even till now we earn monthly through passive income

    With the household members: let’s say I have a couple, do they both have claim to the dependents if they file jointly? Should I select the household the same size for both?

      the number of household members is the number of people on the tax return

    Thank you for this video and taking the time to add helpful tips! I'm ready to register on both CMS and HealthSherpa but I don't see a referral link so you get credit. Can you please provide that.

    Hello Luis, thanks for all you do , my question is - do we use AGI for everyone even if they have a W2 or Pension income? I'm asking because in some clients AGI is reduced and different after deductions . Example is if someone makes $50,000 on w2 and also have a side business, after deductions their AGI goes down to about $25,000. Which do I use for yearly income ?

    • @thinkmedicarethinkaca
      @thinkmedicarethinkaca  Рік тому +3

      if they are self employed, the number to use is after deductions of business exp. all that is done in the Schedule C. Then that net # is used in the AGI

    min 57:55 jordyne claims the family glitch is a special enrollment but it is in fact not a sep (by itself).

    • @thinkmedicarethinkaca
      @thinkmedicarethinkaca  6 місяців тому +1

      correct. The good thing is that at least if the plan is deemed unaffordable, for employee and/or spouse/children/family, then we can enroll them into a plan

      but only during oep unless an other true sep applies.

    How many “Help On Demand” request would you say an agent can receive during the Open enrollment? It was from another you did. Thanks.

    • @thinkmedicarethinkaca
      @thinkmedicarethinkaca  Рік тому +1

      In previous years, I’ve been around 50 leads from HelpOnDemand. Last year I don’t think I got more than 10.

      The big difference, is that there’s a lot more agents and they spread this leads around

    Hi, I do not see Virginia as an option to sell on HealthSherpa. Is there a reason why?

    • @thinkmedicarethinkaca
      @thinkmedicarethinkaca  5 місяців тому +1

      Virginia is a state based exchange. That's why. They have their own certification and their own quoting and enrollment platform. This applies to all state exchanges. Here is a site with all the state exchanges: www.cms.gov/CCIIO/Resources/Fact-Sheets-and-FAQs/state-marketplaces

    In the end where it says Eligibility Summary and then Consent. 'How would you like to maintain proof of consent?' What do I put there? It says upload, I already have proof of consent, or upload files later.
    Is this new?

    • @thinkmedicarethinkaca
      @thinkmedicarethinkaca  Рік тому +2

      yes, its new. You can just keep a record of it. If CMS ask for it, you will have to provide it to them

    Hello! I have tried to enroll with HealthSherpa, and the Healthcare.gov. Even though my income is well above the 100% poverty guideline, they both send me to the Medicaid site which in turns sends me back to the Market Place because my income is too high. I've tried this numerous times and all they do is keep sending me back and fourth. I'm at a loss here... Do you know what the possible reason for this could be? Thank you!
