@shetaz905 I completely agree. Glad someone said it!! She is phenomenal but so is he. This routine did not showcase the male dancer's dance skill's so much as it showcased strength. He is a fantastic dancer!
Brillliant piece of music. Love it, and I just love watching Maks dance up there. I would be very proud to have made it to the Emmys. Thnx for posting this. 5+

Maks and Karina grew up and trained at the same studio as teens under master coach, Victor Kanevsky. Victor's revealed during workshops that Karina is perfectionist with dance, pushing herself beyond pain thresholds...broken toes, back problems, etc., all before age 30. Maks is equally amazing at technique, but the sneakers kinda held him back here.

From viewers perspective Maks is good. With no disrespect to Maks,from a dancers point of view he is could be so much better.As a dancer you are suppose to put everything to the side,no matter what was going on.I dated my partner--we broke up,week later we had to dance in European championship.Slavik(Karina's ex-partner) told us to suck it up, it's dancing, it's totally different world.Karina's nearly world champion,Maks ....well he dances,& good to look at,that's all!
dont agree at all.... yes Karina is amazing BUT you cant compare male dancer to female dancer... also a lot was going on that night for Maks... dont think his head was in the show

To everybody saying Maks is just as good as Karina or that he is the best dancer on DWTS, this is for you: Karina (and Louis) are the best dancers the show has. Hands down. Specially Karina, she came second several times at the biggest dance competition in the world (Blackpool) all the other DWTS pros never even came close to the finals. She is the first ever woman to make the finals with 3 different partners. Shes a legend in the dancesport world. Its a fact. I love Maks but he's far from that.

lol, I have plenty of good-looking, foreign friends, and I'm perfectly fine with them. Karina's a great dancer, no doubt. But her track record isn't so great in relationships, and she was seen making out with another guy almost immediately after she and Maks broke up.
