Love your outhouse story! I lived in alaska long ago and was taking a shower outside in the open with a plant water can and a bush plane flew over! Low too as he landed in the bay in front of the cabin! Those bush pilots must have some great stories!
Crystal, don’t apologize for being nervous! You did an amazing job giving us a tour of your wonderful home! I really admire your frugality and hard work. The loft is my favorite part. I remember older houses having metal grates in the floor of the second story to let the heat rise, but maybe that’s not the best way anymore. The pandemic is difficult, so I am glad your mom is close by and you are using your time “off” to work on your home. Blessings to you, sweet girl! Can’t wait to see your finished bedroom!
I really like this. The added room upstairs has really transformed this house - it’s such a good size now with proper designated areas. Get that room insulated and snuggle up. Good job 👍
She is so energetic and excited about her build if anyone else isn’t this excited or passionate about your build, get a drink in your hand and reshot the whole video. So much better flow and energy with a little bit of drink during the review. Thank you for sharing and all the best with your tiny house and future plans!

What a wonderful personality! She’s really fun! I love this cute home and all of the really terrific improvements that she’s made. Especially love her thriftiness and bargain hunting! Returned paint, I completely forgot that you can buy it too, and black is great because no matter what the color you can always add more tint to create some version of black. Great job!!
Crystal your place looks great! There has definitely been a transformation from the first pictures you posted of this place to now. You should be really proud of all your hard work.
I really like your home. I was thinking when you put your window seat in upstairs you should combine and make a book case around the window. It would look so cool
With her added second floor this is by far the best tiny I've seen. I've often wondered why people can't have a tiny off the trailer and 2 stories stand up room high. Appears they can. Problem must be the builders won't, I guess.
I don't know about others but maybe some are going for the "Age In Place" style of design, figuring that stairs or ladders might become more difficult if they were injured or just getting older.
How much height you can allow, depends on if you're planning on moving your TH much. Road regulations. Nice TH, but I can't deal with an Outhouse, especially out in wooded areas. Too Chicken!
Great cabin! You’ve done a fantastic job!! I love how environmentally healthy you try to keep your home. They make enviro friendly biodegradable disinfectant wipes that could be a great replacement for the Clorox wipes. There are also a lot of great natural dish soap on the market as well. All the best.
Such a cute home! Best way to live. I love the upstairs, so cool :) Great sized kitchen and living room too. Black porch is the perfect amount of dark for the house. I'm wondering if there have been any bear sightings while sitting on the potty?!?!?!?? LOL
I've lived off grid in Trapper Creek Alaska for 22 years now and I built a tiny cabin here. I ordered cheap solar panels from Harbor Freight and now I can get internet access. I pounded my shallow well 17 years ago and I pounded it down straight under my cabin instead of in the yard so I didn't have to worry about it freezing up. Insulating the skirting keeps it warm enough down there. Just 4 years ago I put my own septic tank system!!! It was easy and cheap. I learned how to do it by watching a UA-cam Channel!!!✌🏻❤😊
