I'm surprised this flight was allowed. It is within the Class C airspace of the Ottawa International Airport. No aircraft shall fly in a Class C airspace unless equipped with a two way transponder, and the operator must be in communication with the control tower. Furthermore, Parliament Hill is CYR537; a controlled airspace to 3000 feet and within 0.35 miles radius of the Hill. Fines for violations of this airspace are usually strictly enforced and range from $750 to $1000. Just saying ... Unfortunately drone pilots are often not fully aware of the risks. So it is nice when due diligence is taken. Nice photography.
Looks really good!
Hi! Great video! Did you have to obtain permission from RCMP/Parliament Hill authorities prior to filming this? Really awesome perspective!
Thanks :) Yes, it took us over 2 months to get this approved and different departments.
Yes. Took us three months to get the permits.

We had got special permission from Rcmp and TC. Took us long time to get it.
