Avery sounded fantastic with that lower register. I would love to hear him explore that more although he may be more comfortable singing soprano. I think that low register is something he could explore, it is special.
I mean, obviously they're insanely talented. But not a lot of people realize just how ridiculously talented you have to be to bounce off casually during an impromptu performance like that and still sound like THAT!!! Insane. 🤩😍

Whitney was known as the 8th Wonder of the World when she opened her mouth to sing. Now I feel that way about Avery Wilson. His vocal gymnastics leave me emotionally paralyzed.
I know he is known within certain music circles, but why do you think he hasn’t had the mainstream success of a Taylor Swift or Beyoncé? These vocalists are too far under the radar. I’d like to see them perform at major award shows and other commercial stages.

Song writing, catchiness, melody, etc. Its great to hear people with such powerful voices, but if you look at music thats really blown up in the past 2-3 decades, melody trumps everything even vocal technique. Singers don't have to oversing a song to sell it nor do they need unmatched ability.
1 of the coldest voices I've heard since the late Dino Connor (from 90's group Htown).
