The little rebel 250 blows my mind. The math doesn't add up to me but it's such a fun bike. I've ridden 230hp superbikes and have owned a couple CBR1100s, Ninja's.. just all kinds of bikes and the rebel 250 is just as much fun! I can hop on it and have a blast..up to the speed limit anyway. Something important I found was to change both front and rear sprockets to get a better ratio for highway cruising. Now my 4th is like the original 5th so it's like I have another gear but it still moves very well. I discovered is that the crankcase breather tube should NOT be routed to inside air filter. Better to install a nipple directly on the carburetor boot or intake pipe. Even if you routinely dump the waste from the crankcase waste tube you will still get oily residue in your air filter and it can lower your power significantly. I always had trouble getting a rebel to 70-80mph until I discovered horsepower is being robbed from dirty air filter due to crankcase oil
Good info to have man I've always loved the rebel never owned 1 till now. I don't care people think it's underpowered they are just a thing of beauty. They don't make this style anymore.
hey brother, do you have a video how to adjust the rebel 250 2005 idle, I've seen everything but that, I have one just like yours, thanks for your help
@@Orxan4ik , thanks brother for the information, I also have a Honda Shadow 600 2004 that I'm having a few issues with, I replaced the solenoid and start push button , it's not turning the motor over to crank, the solenoid is making a buzzing sound, and I also charged the battery to full charge and it still isn't cranking or turning over, any idea where to trouble shoot next? any help will be greatly appreciated, again thanks for your advice and your insight brother, looking forward for your response, Jim Bo Young, FL

Hey, I'm thinking of buying one from a family member. It's a 2011 model and been sitting for 6+ years not started. The carb is bad, probably a bad battery, condition of tires is unknown. He told me to make an offer for it, he's the original owner. How much should I offer him and or what is a typical price for that condition? Thank you
