- Homer and the Simpson family are on their way to Bart's baseball game. Homer jokes that if Bart loses, he'll kill him. But it didn't turn out to be a joke. Things quickly spiral out of control and Homer had to go on the lam.
Another Christmas, another minisode! Hope you all had a great year. This was a very fun video to make, lots of rotoscoping down but i wanted to point out the one that I am most proud of, and that would be putting homer in the Mr. Burns costume at the end. It turned out quite well. And I hope you stuck around of the post credit scene!

Hello UA-cam! Another year, another Christmas minisode. Jeez... this channel has been going on for over 4 years now. I wanted to thank you all for your continued support and wish you the absolute best of luck in 2023. Happy Christmas!

I think Homer got more exercise here alone than during the whole year. 😏 I love that they included Bart in the computer simulation of Homer getting bombarded with baseballs.

I honestly love how underneath all the edits, you still let many of the great original jokes play out as intended. As someone who's never watched the Simpsons all that much, your vids along TheRealJims, made me appreciate the show a lot more over the years.

Homer drove 40 miles out of the way to watch Bart lose, that's fatherly love.
It's a lot closer than what Hank Hill had to drive to also watch Bart lose.
He did warn bart what would happen if he lost...
It's kind of weird, though. Aren't Springfield and Shelbyville supposed to be right next door to each other?
Seeing Bart that close up in the thumbnail holding his baseball glove and his hand up is kind of concerning lol.

It would propably start with the scene where Sherry and Terry are skipping in the school yard and it sounds like they are going to say a cuss word only to continue it with something else. I think there is a scene like that, and yes, I'm aware of the cuss song on South Park.

Haha i have a few wholesome videos but i dont think they're sickeningly wholesome.
Imagine a Light Simpsons version of "the boy of bummer." where it seems that things are even worse than the canon version. eventually Bart ends up escaping home, and attempts to end it all, however, the town soon learns what they've done, and search for bart, and they all apologize once they save Bart.
Ahw yeeees...Dark Simpsons in Christmas, the best way to start the day with the holiday.

When I saw Homer dressed as Burns, the first thing in my head was Homer's voice when he was trying to pick up Mr. Burns' mail. So I was thrilled when that scene appeared at the end. It elevated the episode from being great, to being "excellent" 🙏
Haha yeah, that last clip didn't extend the story at all but it was fun, perfect for a post credit scene.

Idea for an ending that fits to any episode: Play voiceover about how "they were saved by, let's say Moe", then cut to Moe saying "Nah" or something like that.

Mr Burns: Why can't that delightful Homer Simpson ever remember my first name? I will forget his name in revenge! Quick! Smithers get the amnesia ray.

Burns: Yes, and when you're done wipe your memory clean as well!
And the resulting brain damage prevented Burns from processing more than one person named Homer. But Smithers brain function was preserved by... oh let's say... Moe.

Merry Christmas! The editing in this is excellent and seamless. Everything fits so well. I always guess incorrectly about what might happen next as I thought when Homer said he'd kill Bart if he lost, I was sure the clip "I'll mace you good!" where Homer chases bart with a mace, would appear at some point after Bart dropped the ball but I am not disappointed.

Not going to lie, I think I prefer the simulated ending; mostly since Bart spontaneously returns from the dead 😂
Clearly the simulation software has some bugs in it still. Hopefully the next patch will fix the issue where settings related to people who are dead only works half of the time.
It's was probably the seamless editor who put it together, fire his butt!

Gee whiz. If Homer killed the chief of police after he murdered his son all because he lost a baseball game, what's to stop him from silencing anyone in his path to escape. He is a danger to society and will probably be right at the top and make Alexis Flores No. 2 or towards the top on the FBI Most Wanted List!
