For "gaming" aspect I guess it's to not let the cable go through where your hand is resting on.
I'm curious, what are your thoughts about those USB C ribbon cables, they're miniscule but they only go about 3 inches
Wouldn't they create problems with charging speeds handshake?
from what i've learned over the years in commerce, you can appease to a certain rich demographic ""gamers"" and upsell products while using the cheapest materials, and no-one would bat an eye.
