They didn't remove in Moorland. Unfortunately, they removed Silverglade Village and Steve's Farm a year ago. It's stupid, in these places it should stay old, because the new one isn't so cool anymore.
I'm convinced it's because they had a WAY better, more traditional orchestra/band/ensemble to perform their old music, and the current CEO hired in 2017 doesn't care as much about maintaining that standard or doesn't know enough about music to find the right performers. Edit: I have since researched and apparently all of my favorite SSO music, old and new, were written by the same composer named Sergeant Tom who's been with them since 2012. Dundull, Dino Valley, and Starshine Legacy were all the same person and for some reason it makes me happy. I like music.

I remember going into there riding my old horse and be like holy shmoly I broke game. Such pleasureable memory. I loved old SSO. Now it's great too, but the old one will hold a special space in my heart

I've been playing the game for so long. It's been like 8 years already. I'm not sure if it is the memories making they seem more colorful, or the childish urge to have fun, but old star stable is a core memory in my brain. It feels very warm and nice, i was looking for a place to comfort myself so i thought i should open it again. It didn't feel the same, i still play since that day but it feels so lonely. It feels like visiting your childhood home you left as a child again all destroyed and abandoned. I remember always trying to make it on time to raptors concerts just to have fun and meet new people. Especially meeting new people was the thing that made this game so heartwarming. All of my friends had some type of online friendship while i never could find friends online, excluding Star Stable i could just walk to someone and have fun chat with them or enter a wild horses roleplay. I know that i could probably do that now too but it's just so weird. I felt so devastated after seeing Lisa and Katja's new models, it's literally not the same person. I always loved Lisa she was kind of a comfort character because she was different that everyone now she feels like a plain 3d model without story and memories. I miss my Starter horse in the original model so much i always made fun of how they looked. I miss the old silvergrade it looks like a town after apocalypse, everyone is gone.. it's so rare to see people roam around that city now, back then it was a club meetup place and it felt like a giant city compared to moorland stables. And that shop you could walk into, with a working mirror. Everyone had very bad style then but we didn't feel ashamed walking in skinny leggings with a sleeveless jacket and a cowboy hat. The game feels empty, i remeber people roleplaying as waitresses and sitting on your place to buy the food you asked for and then stand up. When to be invisible you had too mess with the game files, when you changed game language to have a funky horse/club name. I watched the video talking about making od new Lisa it made me so mad. Especially the comment about making her fit into the new century, people dress so many ways in this century and 2000's clothing is so popular, she didn't have to stop being that sweet punk pop girl. This music makes me cry, remembering all the good times i had with the quests, characters, areas, friends and clubs i wish i could go back in time. For now star stable feels so different that it doesn't bring that joy anymore. I wish i could play the 2014 star stable again i would tear up from happiness.
wow u worded that really good. The old sso holds so much nostalgia for old player like us :) I mean, it is not like new sso is bad, but, it could be better! They removed so much nostalgia from the game. In old sso everything felt so mysterious and calming at the same time, it really was an escape from reality. Now it is just all rainbows and colors and always the soul riders who save the day (i mean thats what they are supposed to do but in the old quests there is much more tension and mystery). The new graphics take so much nostalgia away... I like the new graphics and its good that sso looks more modern now but the old graphics were much more realistic. When they were updating the old graphics they said about the new ones that they wanted to make the game look more realistic. But uhm, the old graphics are more realistic than the new ones but oh well. SSO's choice i guess... Besided all that negative talking, new sso has great things too! Like i love some of the new horses, those look much more realistic. And they have good animations too. (But the old horses hold a special place in my heart tho :)) And they are updating the story quest much frequently (we got like a whole library and it looks reallt cool! Especially with the new quests where we need to solve small puzzles, i think they did really great with that!) But i do feel you! Old sso really was a childhood game for me as for many other players
I don’t know what it is that star stable changed about the camera, but I really miss the “misty”/“blurred” filter on top. It really made it look whimsical, and I think if they brought it back it would still look really good. Nothing to change about the graphics, just that overlaying filter. Even if they made it optional it would be great.
Exactly! although I think you mean the effect that was called (bloom) it used to be optional in the graphic settings and functioned in places such as the riding arena although it randomly got removed in one of their updates a year ago and they never addressed it dont know why

Started playing sso in 2018, and had been watching vids of it since 2015. I quit for a year and a half and I just got back on, and lemme tell u it’s sad 😭 So many things have changed. I miss the older sso. I can’t imagine the players who have been here since like 2013 must be feeling like. If they are still on. 💕
Listening to this makes me feel something that I can't describe. I've been playing this game for about 7 years now. I miss the old sso so badly. Sure, the horses are a lot better and the world is so much more beautiful, but I miss how everyone simply wanted to be friends. I remember stampedes and joining them all the time, thinking I was so cool, running in this HUGE herd of horses. I remember when champs were so popular I'd get network errors when I tried to join them, they were so popular. I remember star hunting with my friends, being so excited when we would find them. I miss the old Star Stable.
It’s really unfortunate and kind of silly that after almost 10 years since joining, and this game having such a huge impact on my childhood, I just can’t enjoy the game at all anymore because the past is all I can think about, since like 2017 I’ve just felt lost in the game, now everything I knew has been changed or removed and I just feel so disconnected from it. It’s silly because I know things need to change after time but i just can’t accept it and get over my memories, just listening to the old soundtrack I’m in tears within seconds. I don’t care if it’s now more detailed and improved overall I would just do anything to go back to how it was, I remember when there wasn’t even harvest counties. I feel exactly the same😭 and while I can still enjoy the game and the new updates I just cannot understand why they had to remove EVERYTHING old. every single little thing is getting updated just to look more modern, instead of them just making new areas which used to be the highlight of the year back in the day :( even all the squares that pop up, like the ones after you've completed a race or whatever, what is the point of removing that blank charming old looking turqoise only to swap it for a big dull almost grey?? lmao that's a small detail but my point is why can't they keep the things that make the game so adorable and nostalgic, don't fix what isn't broken

Like i swear that when i did them for the first time they used to be timed and you could fail if the GED guys catch you, and i failed them so many times at first😭😭 But i got a new account a few months ago to replay all the quests for nostalgic purposes and they are not timed anymore and the guys can't even catch you anymore, you just go to the things and click them and you're done... I was so heartbroken and so sad😭😭😭 Also Loretta isn't as mean as she used to be and it's also just tragic😭😭 I feel like this game has really gone downhill...

Awhh star stable has evolved and changed so much over the years... I've been playing for the whole time and it still strikes me to remember how far it's really come. These songs built our childhoods, they held the foundation with fond memories and beautiful music tracks. I hope that we can all remember these memories

We might never get back how the game looked like but whenever i listen to this playlist a part of me remembers how much i enjoyed this game and the fact i thought it would stay like that forever. Please never ever delete this. This brings me back those feelings i had when i played as a child and it brings me joy even if its for a short amount of time
6:39 is my favorite song from sso but no one has a soundtrack for it or knows what it's called ;-; I really miss old sso. Everybody says the new is best. Sure, there are some things that are good abt new sso like some new horses but they shouldve kept the starter horses as is, plus the graphics/art style of the game and the original soul riders' designs as well as silverglade village and steve's farm. :(

@S a f f r o n Yes. You are right. I am specific player. I started playing On the last inch of "Old star stable era" - when Old sso was dying and new era was starting. When I was a noob player or even "begginer" (12lvl-15 lvl) I still had plesure to experience some things form era of "good Old SSO" like Old grafics in Golden Leafs Valley/Epona, Old Doyl's Church (I dont remember name of this place 😢) Old music, some old quest and events like Valentines, Easter Egg, April Fools x3, (Now even) Midsomar, old Christmas Village (they f#cked it up), old Soul Raiders/Dark Raiders, Old Storyline (Yes they changed characters making old storyline not Cannon), old caring system when you needed to feed, water etc. your horse regurally, not be able to jump as non star rider, building bridge, pandoric cracks in the ground and even more. When I was on 17-19lvl SSO started to remove most of that things I know form Old sso but, arent in game anymore or still were in the game on mine first weeks of playing sso, but then vanished.
if it helps out with the sadness of the old game being gone, some of this music and ambient sounds have been added back into the game as of wednesday. such as valedale, firgrove, moorland, etc. silverglade still has the new steve’s music but dino valley and epona also seem to have their music back

watching this after the updated characters have come out brings me many tears. i’ve played sso for 10 years now, since i was only 5. i grew up on this game, it was a huge part of my childhood. i remember playing it because my older sister found sso from an ad, and like most younger siblings, i wanted to do whatever she did. she was better at the game than me, questing instead of role playing or exploring aimlessly like me. she unlocked areas quicker than me and i’d just glitch into them. she’d teach me things about the game and the lore. but we would always have fun together, join clubs together and make new friends, try the mall glitch or theorize about the fridge doors and dark core. we’d spend hours, just the two of us making memories that will last forever. i remember the pure excitement i’d feel when unlocking a new area like goldenhills or dinosaur valley, or building the bridge to the harvest counties after seeing the new trailer on youtube. or even buying a new horse like the andalusians. the last piece of old sso i had left besides old models and some places in the game such as the treehouse is gone. the new characters feel so cartoonish and silly. i know a game has to update to continue to thrive but not like this, not this much. i miss those days so much, i would do anything to go back and experience this game. but honestly i don’t think it would be the same either way because i’ve gotten older, i’m not a child anymore, i’m growing up. i mean the other day i got my learners permit to start driving. when i was small i always dreamed of this day but now i’m terrified and i realize being a teenager and growing up isn’t so fun. i would tell her to cherish the days of sso with my sister, who’s now 20 and studying abroad. i would tell her to not take anything for granted and enjoy every last second of it. watching old videos feels refreshing and nostalgic, but makes me want to weep and mourn my childhood. people will tell me i’m still a kid and i don’t have anything to worry about but no matter what age you are you can still be nostalgic. but wow, (if u read this far u are a real one), i will always thank star stable for making me the person i am today. it made me better and taught me many things. i won’t cry because it’s over, i’ll smile because it happened. i made one of my best friends on sso not too long ago and we still talk to this day on other apps. as for the other friends i made, i haven’t heard from them but i know they’re out there somewhere. i love you forever sso, and thank you. ❤️
Psst. To all you younger players having nostalgia and wanting to hear these sounds again. All are ripped directly from the original star rider games, which you can now download online! (I believe from SSO's website now, actually). Most of the calmer ones correlate to earth areas in the og games, which you'll hear a lot in the first game. The more mystical ones are more likely in the Pandoria segments, so I would recommend playing Anne's game for those ones. Most of those areas are not timed so you can pull the game up and just listen to all the ambiences! Oh, and if you would rather ride around the old map/old sounds in a free roam, try the sequel series of Star Stable games. Those will give you a very similar feel to launch SSO, because SSO was built directly off of them. However, they WILL be missing the more magical soundtracks, as the character you play as in those is not magical and does not have access into Pandoria. Anne's is my best recommendation for which game to check out for nostalgic music, and also frankly it's worth checking out the old Pandoria stuff and its lore because all of it is really neat and it has a fun musical backing.
idk about y’all but the song at the hairdressers 6:40 used to be my JAM. 10 year old me would sit in that hairdressers chair for so long just listening to the music. haven’t heard it for many years and the second I heard it I discovered that I still know the whole lyrics lol also, the old moorland and silverglade sounds makes me want to cry. why did they remove this amazing soundtrack.

I feel like the old soundtrack was far more scary then the one nowadays, that might be the reason they changed it so much. The old one just has that compact vibe. It's mysterious. Sometimes scary. And other times just very peaceful. It has some weird depth to it that I can't really describe. And the new version is just so much more shallow and vague in my opinion

My opinion is, I personally don't think they should've changed anything, But I understand that they have to update it to keep the game running, Its just sad because I was obsessed with this game when I was younger, It was the only game id play on my laptop and never got bored of it.

I feel lucky that I own all 4 of the old Star Stable games, I can just put in the disc of choice and be able to play the old Star Stable with the old music, sounds and horses, honestly unfortunate sso removed most of these tracks :/

I've been playing the game for so long. It's been like 8 years already. I'm not sure if it is the memories making they seem more colorful, or the childish urge to have fun, but old star stable is a core memory in my brain. It feels very warm and nice, i was looking for a place to comfort myself so i thought i should open it again. It didn't feel the same, i still play since that day but it feels so lonely. It feels like visiting your childhood home you left as a child again all destroyed and abandoned. I remember always trying to make it on time to raptors concerts just to have fun and meet new people. Especially meeting new people was the thing that made this game so heartwarming. All of my friends had some type of online friendship while i never could find friends online, excluding Star Stable i could just walk to someone and have fun chat with them or enter a wild horses roleplay. I know that i could probably do that now too but it's just so weird. I felt so devastated after seeing Lisa and Katja's new models, it's literally not the same person. I always loved Lisa she was kind of a comfort character because she was different that everyone now she feels like a plain 3d model without story and memories. I miss my Starter horse in the original model so much i always made fun of how they looked. I miss the old silvergrade it looks like a town after apocalypse, everyone is gone.. it's so rare to see people roam around that city now, back then it was a club meetup place and it felt like a giant city compared to moorland stables. And that shop you could walk into, with a working mirror. Everyone had very bad style then but we didn't feel ashamed walking in skinny leggings with a sleeveless jacket and a cowboy hat. The game feels empty, i remeber people roleplaying as waitresses and sitting on your place to buy the food you asked for and then stand up. When to be invisible you had too mess with the game files, when you changed game language to have a funky horse/club name. I watched the video talking about making od new Lisa it made me so mad. Especially the comment about making her fit into the new century, people dress so many ways in this century and 2000's clothing is so popular, she didn't have to stop being that sweet punk pop girl. This music makes me cry, remembering all the good times i had with the quests, characters, areas, friends and clubs i wish i could go back in time. For now star stable feels so different that it doesn't bring that joy anymore. I wish i could play the 2014 star stable again i would tear up from happiness.

I mean, it is not like new sso is bad, but, it could be better! They removed so much nostalgia from the game.
In old sso everything felt so mysterious and calming at the same time, it really was an escape from reality. Now it is just all rainbows and colors and always the soul riders who save the day (i mean thats what they are supposed to do but in the old quests there is much more tension and mystery). The new graphics take so much nostalgia away... I like the new graphics and its good that sso looks more modern now but the old graphics were much more realistic.
When they were updating the old graphics they said about the new ones that they wanted to make the game look more realistic. But uhm, the old graphics are more realistic than the new ones but oh well. SSO's choice i guess...
Besided all that negative talking, new sso has great things too! Like i love some of the new horses, those look much more realistic. And they have good animations too. (But the old horses hold a special place in my heart tho :))
And they are updating the story quest much frequently (we got like a whole library and it looks reallt cool! Especially with the new quests where we need to solve small puzzles, i think they did really great with that!)

I don’t know what it is that star stable changed about the camera, but I really miss the “misty”/“blurred” filter on top. It really made it look whimsical, and I think if they brought it back it would still look really good. Nothing to change about the graphics, just that overlaying filter. Even if they made it optional it would be great.

Exactly! although I think you mean the effect that was called (bloom) it used to be optional in the graphic settings and functioned in places such as the riding arena although it randomly got removed in one of their updates a year ago and they never addressed it dont know why

Started playing sso in 2018, and had been watching vids of it since 2015. I quit for a year and a half and I just got back on, and lemme tell u it’s sad 😭 So many things have changed. I miss the older sso. I can’t imagine the players who have been here since like 2013 must be feeling like. If they are still on. 💕

It’s really unfortunate and kind of silly that after almost 10 years since joining, and this game having such a huge impact on my childhood, I just can’t enjoy the game at all anymore because the past is all I can think about, since like 2017 I’ve just felt lost in the game, now everything I knew has been changed or removed and I just feel so disconnected from it. It’s silly because I know things need to change after time but i just can’t accept it and get over my memories, just listening to the old soundtrack I’m in tears within seconds. I don’t care if it’s now more detailed and improved overall I would just do anything to go back to how it was, I remember when there wasn’t even harvest counties.

I feel exactly the same😭 and while I can still enjoy the game and the new updates I just cannot understand why they had to remove EVERYTHING old. every single little thing is getting updated just to look more modern, instead of them just making new areas which used to be the highlight of the year back in the day :( even all the squares that pop up, like the ones after you've completed a race or whatever, what is the point of removing that blank charming old looking turqoise only to swap it for a big dull almost grey?? lmao that's a small detail but my point is why can't they keep the things that make the game so adorable and nostalgic, don't fix what isn't broken

Like i swear that when i did them for the first time they used to be timed and you could fail if the GED guys catch you, and i failed them so many times at first😭😭 But i got a new account a few months ago to replay all the quests for nostalgic purposes and they are not timed anymore and the guys can't even catch you anymore, you just go to the things and click them and you're done... I was so heartbroken and so sad😭😭😭 Also Loretta isn't as mean as she used to be and it's also just tragic😭😭 I feel like this game has really gone downhill...

Awhh star stable has evolved and changed so much over the years... I've been playing for the whole time and it still strikes me to remember how far it's really come. 6:39 is my favorite song from sso but no one has a soundtrack for it or knows what it's called ;-; I really miss old sso. Everybody says the new is best. Sure, there are some things that are good abt new sso like some new horses but they shouldve kept the starter horses as is, plus the graphics/art style of the game and the original soul riders' designs as well as silverglade village and steve's farm. :(

I am specific player. I started playing On the last inch of "Old star stable era" - when Old sso was dying and new era was starting.
When I was a noob player or even "begginer" (12lvl-15 lvl) I still had plesure to experience some things form era of "good Old SSO" like Old grafics in Golden Leafs Valley/Epona, Old Doyl's Church (I dont remember name of this place 😢) Old music, some old quest and events like Valentines, Easter Egg, April Fools x3, (Now even) Midsomar, old Christmas Village (they f#cked it up), old Soul Raiders/Dark Raiders, Old Storyline (Yes they changed characters making old storyline not Cannon), old caring system when you needed to feed, water etc. your horse regurally, not be able to jump as non star rider, building bridge, pandoric cracks in the ground and even more.
When I was on 17-19lvl SSO started to remove most of that things I know form Old sso but, arent in game anymore or still were in the game on mine first weeks of playing sso, but then vanished.

if it helps out with the sadness of the old game being gone, some of this music and ambient sounds have been added back into the game as of wednesday. such as valedale, firgrove, moorland, etc. silverglade still has the new steve’s music but dino valley and epona also seem to have their music back

watching this after the updated characters have come out brings me many tears. i’ve played sso for 10 years now, since i was only 5. i grew up on this game, it was a huge part of my childhood. i remember playing it because my older sister found sso from an ad, and like most younger siblings, i wanted to do whatever she did. she was better at the game than me, questing instead of role playing or exploring aimlessly like me. she unlocked areas quicker than me and i’d just glitch into them. she’d teach me things about the game and the lore. but we would always have fun together, join clubs together and make new friends, try the mall glitch or theorize about the fridge doors and dark core. we’d spend hours, just the two of us making memories that will last forever. i remember the pure excitement i’d feel when unlocking a new area like goldenhills or dinosaur valley, or building the bridge to the harvest counties after seeing the new trailer on youtube. or even buying a new horse like the andalusians. the last piece of old sso i had left besides old models and some places in the game such as the treehouse is gone. the new characters feel so cartoonish and silly. i know a game has to update to continue to thrive but not like this, not this much. i miss those days so much, i would do anything to go back and experience this game. but honestly i don’t think it would be the same either way because i’ve gotten older, i’m not a child anymore, i’m growing up. i mean the other day i got my learners permit to start driving. when i was small i always dreamed of this day but now i’m terrified and i realize being a teenager and growing up isn’t so fun. i would tell her to cherish the days of sso with my sister, who’s now 20 and studying abroad. i would tell her to not take anything for granted and enjoy every last second of it. watching old videos feels refreshing and nostalgic, but makes me want to weep and mourn my childhood. people will tell me i’m still a kid and i don’t have anything to worry about but no matter what age you are you can still be nostalgic. but wow, (if u read this far u are a real one), i will always thank star stable for making me the person i am today. it made me better and taught me many things. i won’t cry because it’s over, i’ll smile because it happened. i made one of my best friends on sso not too long ago and we still talk to this day on other apps. as for the other friends i made, i haven’t heard from them but i know they’re out there somewhere. i love you forever sso, and thank you. ❤️
Psst. To all you younger players having nostalgia and wanting to hear these sounds again. All are ripped directly from the original star rider games, which you can now download online! (I believe from SSO's website now, actually). Most of the calmer ones correlate to earth areas in the og games, which you'll hear a lot in the first game. The more mystical ones are more likely in the Pandoria segments, so I would recommend playing Anne's game for those ones. Most of those areas are not timed so you can pull the game up and just listen to all the ambiences!
Oh, and if you would rather ride around the old map/old sounds in a free roam, try the sequel series of Star Stable games. Those will give you a very similar feel to launch SSO, because SSO was built directly off of them. However, they WILL be missing the more magical soundtracks, as the character you play as in those is not magical and does not have access into Pandoria.
Anne's is my best recommendation for which game to check out for nostalgic music, and also frankly it's worth checking out the old Pandoria stuff and its lore because all of it is really neat and it has a fun musical backing.

idk about y’all but the song at the hairdressers 6:40 used to be my JAM. 10 year old me would sit in that hairdressers chair for so long just listening to the music. haven’t heard it for many years and the second I heard it I discovered that I still know the whole lyrics lol

I feel like the old soundtrack was far more scary then the one nowadays, that might be the reason they changed it so much. The old one just has that compact vibe. It's mysterious. Sometimes scary. And other times just very peaceful. It has some weird depth to it that I can't really describe. And the new version is just so much more shallow and vague in my opinion

My opinion is, I personally don't think they should've changed anything, But I understand that they have to update it to keep the game running, Its just sad because I was obsessed with this game when I was younger, It was the only game id play on my laptop and never got bored of it.
