    Maybe you should try to visit animal sanctuaries and address also the lives of animals that have been rescued from factory farms and what we could learn from that. Thanks!

    • @LexFly18
      @LexFly18 9 років тому +5

      +Glenn Daly You might want to be specific when you say "dying" because everyone dies eventually. What I think you're referring to is situations like the Paris attack or world hunger? Yes, that is absolutely important, but animals are important too. Your comment comes off a little offensively.

    • @Whitephoenix98
      @Whitephoenix98 9 років тому +6

      +Glenn Daly Humans are animals, and their lives are important too. It's extremely disturbing that you can put aside their suffering and their dying just because they're not your own species. Not everything is about humans, the world needs to pay attention to other animals too and make an effort to help them as well. Especially when so many problems these animals face are human related, we have a responsibility to help them.

    • @DeejayHonesT
      @DeejayHonesT 9 років тому +3

      +Glenn Daly You could adress that to both problems. Like the dieing of Oceans and Rainforests and how it affects both animals and people. I would not send louis to syria to be honest ^^

    Louis I think you should go and meet the refugees like in Greece or something, and maybe travel with them a little on their journeys to Central Europe. It could show the world that these people are just "normal" people running away from war... You could do some real interviews of these people, and to have your "inside" view of these things could change a lot in people's mind about refugees. Thanks Louis, bye :)

    Those sunsets are amazing.....all the sunsets that we're in the presence of, physically reflect very special light and beauty. For those of us who are able to watch the sunsets with frequency, please know that this is a great way to find emotional and mental balance. So thank you for sharing these beautiful sunsets with us, they're genuinely spectacular, especially these in Acapulco. Thanks also for acknowledging those who have been murdered and injured in Paris.

    Hi Louie! You should definitely come to Colombia in South America. We're at the finishing steps of a peace treat for a long intern conflict with guerrillas. Now the country is heading towards peace and so much is being done to help in terms of environment, society, helping the victims, reconnecting with territories forgotten during the war and the initiatives go on and on. Plus we are the second most biodiverse country in the world, we have from caribbean beaches to snowy mountains, amazonian jungles and beautiful plains. The doors will be always open for you to come and visit :)

There are so many issues you could explore, but make sure you do it in the right way, don't volunteer for two weeks then leave (not good for the kids), make sure any development you are apart of is long term and sustainable :) keep up informing people around the world about the issues, because people need to be aware. As you may be aware this past April a major earthquake hit Nepal killing thousands, and causing massive damage to most of there temples, and tourist landmarks. Now I understand there are many other places in need of help; but ever since I went to Nepal last year a little part of me has stayed there. Perhaps you could add Nepal to your list of traveling locations. The Three Sisters are sure to welcome you.

    Louis's comments on Paris were surprisingly well-stated. Obviously the deaths of other people in the world aren't less important, but I don't think the reason why Paris is getting more coverage than Beirut can simply be explained as racism, as some people are trying to do. People naturally view their news through a self-interested lens. When a terrorist group attacks a major western cultural capital in the name of declaring a war on western secular society, obviously that's going to be of interest to people living in western secular societies. Like Louis said; it was a matter of hitting closer to home. Plus there's a connection to issues of migration and foreign policies that voters will personally be making decisions about. And there's also probably the fact that it's just easier to go report on a story in France than report from a war zone in Lebanon.
    I'm also happy to hear Louis say that he plans to tone down the tourism in the future. It sounds like he was receptive to the coffee-beach-massage fatigue that was increasingly being expressed in the comments. I'm looking forward to watching the types of videos he described.
