When we call her Queen Bey this is what we're talking about, her stage presence and energy. Not every artist can write songs, not every artist can play instruments and not every artist can take control of a stage like she does. Bey isn't good at everything but when it comes to performing not one person in this generation does it better than her.

EXACTLY! Some try to slam her for not playing an instrument or writing (sometimes) but how is that different from the many artists who NEVER wrote their own material? It's so unexpected for these two to collaborate, and I love it, both of their voices sounded amazing during this performance. Beyonce knows how to entertain, and this is why some people stan so hard for her. She's one of the best living entertainers and you can't deny that.

This is what she was born to do. over the course of her career, her vocal range has been versatile and unparalleled to any artists of my generation.(To hit the notes she did, love to see y'all try). This is what love of music looks like. Gary Clark Jr. Channeled so much love into his music in this performance. Soul is not about belting notes, its what she did on that stage. Janelle monae, Elle Varner and Beyonce make me beyond proud to be black and soulful. These ladies contribute more than they will ever be appreciated for. Beyonce is an amazing singer and hands down the best performer of my time. She doesn't have to sound like anyone or anything to be great. That is true artistry. To let YOUR voice and your soul be the medium for the mystic and universal power of music.

***** My next dream album would be a Funk/R&B/Soul album (with like 2 non-generic Pop bops for the GP, that still fits within the rest of the funk/r&b/soul songs), Belts from 4, Low notes from BEYONCE, and really well-written lyrics. I hope she does an album where she is the only songwriter, just to clock the Grammy's and the haters (and like 2/3 songs with a co-writer like BOOTS or Sia). I really would like to hear the Stevie Wonder and MJ influences.

she's certainly a RHYTHMIC singer...been listening to her since i was a kid and i've realised she's never had a Whitney or Mariah approach to Vocals...i think thats why people say she's too Technical when she's singing POP ballads because its not really RAW....but once she sings something with a. Jazz, Soul Train and or Funk Influence she really SHINES, Truly in her element..her Voice can be very Brassy, Bluesy, Jazzy,POWERFUL and Funky all at the same time

I've gone to some fine shows and taken youtubes... but I try not to so too often, cuz I'm there to enjoy the artist.... and, in this case, when Beyonce sings 'clap your hands'.... well, since I saw others taking vids/pics, that means less folks clap their hands, and are less able to really get into the groove.... plus, everyone who loves Stevie (and the other artists) saw the show with superb audio/visual quality last night on CBS.... thus, if you don't mind a suggestion, maybe next time take a quick pic, then just drop that cam into your pocket or purse, and really get into the music?... alright, i'll shaddup, take care....

Sweet Dottie Yeah I did listen to the full album but compared to 4 it is commercial (like I am...Sasha Fierce).And it might have those beats that are "particular" but Drunk in Love,XO,Pretty Hurts,Partition and many others are commercial.It has received success but the quality doesn't compare to 4.This album has the "sex" theme that's very popular today in the musical industry which means she didn't really follow what her heart said but she comformed to what the musical business is all about.Yeah she might say "I want to show that a Mother can be sexy" but honestly she can do that WITHOUT showing off her ass all the time.So yeah in my opinion this album,for how innovative can be,is pretty much commercial which is why I guess it had much more success compared to 4,because she gave away what PEOPLE wanted to see and hear not what SHE wanted to see and hear.Have you listened to 4?!
