Question 4 is actually answer B) 300 feet, not C) 500 feet. Reference section 6.1 of the NYS DOT manual. “Do not park within 300 feet of:
    -A bridge, tunnel or building.
    -A place where people gather
    -An open fire “

Yep. I saw that. An was like man I keep getting diff answers from diff sources. Lol. But it's 300. I also saw another question that best of my knowledge is wrong. It said how many fire extinguishers do u need. Far as I know. U only need one at a rating of 10: B:C or more. If that's changed an I'm wrong will someone plz show me this. Ty

I’m not sure that we are understanding the question right. Everyone here agrees I think that it’s 300 feet parking from an open fire or a tunnel. I think what they are asking is how far away you should get from the vehicle, caring hazmat if it is on fire. I don’t know, I don’t have the regulations in front of me, but that might be 500 feet. That’s not a very good question. Anyways, I expect for people to use their common sense, depending on what is on fire how far away they should get and which way the wind is blowing.

Question 4: 2019 Texas CMV Driver's Handbook 9.6.1 (page 9-13), " withing th300 feet of an open fire." Not your "(C) 500 feet". And Question 31: 2019 Texas CMV Driver's Handbook 9.6.8 (page 9-14), "...must have a fire extinguisher with UL rating...." Not your "(B) 2".

Just a heads up, many of these questions are not part of section 9 of the CDL manual and therefore will not appear on your hazmat test. These appear to be review questions from Haz-Mat University

I took this test 3 times and failed All 3 .. yeah I know …there was always different questions that I never seen on test before or on the study materials. but I know for sure , I never seen any of these question on the test.

I'm really sorry to hear about your struggles with the CDL Hazmat test. It can indeed be challenging and sometimes the test might contain questions not directly covered in the study materials. However, remember the goal of the test is to ensure that you can handle hazardous materials safely and effectively under various circumstances.
My video is intended to be a supplemental resource to help you understand the kind of questions that can be asked and how to approach them. I would recommend revisiting the official study guide and resources provided by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) or your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), as these are the primary materials the test is based on.
Remember, the key is to understand the concepts, procedures, and safety measures instead of memorizing specific questions. And don't be discouraged! It's okay to fail a few times - what's important is learning from those experiences and improving. Good luck on your next attempt! You can do it!

Already on the very first question Google said that 2.1 + 2.2 are the hazardous materials and this video says that it's 3. How are we ever supposed to pass test when none of study guides have accurate answers?
