That title's exactly what happened to me today when facing a Final Countdown stall with Crooked Cook. I was running Darklords and I managed to summon Ukoback on their field with the 3rd Indulged's effect(other tries denied by Ash), but for some unknown reason, I destroyed Ukoback first and... yeah. That decision will haunt me for a good while.

I don't know how weak Hero is, I almost NEVER have enough disruption against them. Even the infamous "Evil Hero Nibiru" was never there when I need it.

This player really did like 80% of the combo just to be like "aight, enough of all of this..PASS" Well..you pass on the dub cuz.
A lot of decks that run this combo have Denglong send Chiwen from the Deck to make Denglong the Level 1 Tuner for Cupid Pitch... But even if they didn't have that, they could have STILL continued the combo into Colossus by putting Denglong in the Extra Zone. Then there would be two spaces to put an O-Lion Token and the revived Jet Synchron for Cupid Pitch, use that with the last token for Savage, and get Corridor into Colossus that way, keeping Denglong on the field to use with the Nine Pillars. Usually you only do it that way if you didn't already have anything banished beforehand; but in this case, they did already use a Water Enchantress...
I had a similar situation with a floodgate eldlich recently where turn 1 he/she set 4 and pass, only to activate sanguine and vanity emptiness right after it resolved. Painful moment when i realize my hand was full of special summon and can't play now 🤣. But there's a good ending to this story where he/she started to flex and that cost them the game

Finally D-Hero player who works Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer into their deck instead of it being a random cards without synergy.
