The reason why people take ultimate 3 over ult one is because it's a instant burst heal and it restores armor also when playing kurumi funny thing is you dont need meds you can just carry powders.
Something that no one seems to say: 1 and 2 ults for Kurumi, can be countered by Tarka and Sandman, burning you heavily and eating away your energy for the Sandman's skill being thrown at your ult. If you DO take 1 and 2, I suggest you not use it cause that can ultimately be your lost if a person is well known to or educated on the matter. I don't see enough big people saying this and starting to think a lot of people do not know this
kurumi is definitely good in solos. She doesnt have the counter abilities like tianhai or tarka but the healing abilities definitiely powerful in many cases
i played yoto hime and tianhai when i first got the game, but i saw the potential with kurumi had., Her movement with the umbrella, and the techniques you can do such as slide heal with it, super fun character.
@@panchotheschitbag8604 basically press jump, then activate her ability, then choose the heal, i shouldve said glide instead of slide, but basically when ur standing still and use her heal, youre stuck there until the animation finishes, but if youre sprinting, and activate her ability in the air, youll glide across the air at sprint speed while healing
I've been watching a few of your videos so far and notice in your dagger combos that you could maybe get more damage out of it by doing a vertical attack. Any reason you don't? Combo in question is left click focus (uppercut) light light which you can add a vertical to stab downward to add more damage.
I like playing her a lot in solos, but sadly her ults can be countered so frequently by the sand and fire characters, I believe that's why people consider her low tier.
I have difficulty moving in combat, even fights feel like we just combo each other with rare escape/reset. Fighting stronger people they just get away or outmeneuver me while I'm attacking and I can't figure out where I'm screwing up, wether I need to time my combos and dodges better or not overcommit to an attack but I also get into situations where I have an advantage (got the jump or parried into counterattack) and get my opponent low only for them to turn the tables by landing a good combo and if I do tap dodge out they are immediately on me anyways.

Would also recommend learning how to do the focus dash cancel thing, basically just press and hold M2-press and hold shift- let go of M2- repeat. It helps a lot of getting away because you briefly get the focus attack armor.
wish i streamed my first game going in 18 kills in quickmatch i scared the hell out of my self when their were 4 of is tiny circle trying to kill each other
I feel like Kurumi is viable as well as my main, but I don’t play her solo solely to the fact that there’s better options who are a lot harder to counter unfortunately
Ya know, you can use the umbrellas like a poopy teleport, if you hold down the cast button. you can cast it away from you then teleport to it, away from danger. I consider her low tier as her umbrella is the worst escape in the game. it can be false cast, has too many limitations to where it can be cast, and will cost you deaths, which isnt fun. The best buff for it would be to allow her to cast it on walls as there is no reason she should not be able to cast on a wall if she can stand on it or in a tree she can obviously climb. You can look at the sky and cast with matari to get away, you can look at the sky and cast with kurumi but, you get no umbrella and are still locked in the animation, this will cause you to die in a fight trying to escape, of course you arent looking at sky but, at the ground somewhere trying to escape but, it still happens.
She’s low teir because of overall survivability and utility she just doest have alot of tricks up her sleeve nd what would be considered the ace up her sleeve is something all characters can do which is heal other characters are just better choices in the long run simply due to that.
So that fight where you almost lost to the viper, when you were one hit away, I was thinking " oh fuck, use that heal quick!" But you went on the attack and lived from the trade Honestly not the decision I would have made and I probably would have died for it. Good call.
not necessarily i do it all the time to take advantage of that thought right there i cant tell you how many times ive been one tap and got full heals off because they just overlooked me maybe thinking im a bot now that im putting thought into it 😂😂just break line of sight so they can’t grapple pop a quick heal and just enough and get back in the fight
@@FtenZAb yeah no. That's not what I meant. I mean as a sword is falling on there head,. They start to walk back and try and heal. They don't crouch dodge or get to cover. Just stop fighting and start to heal.

Maybe I need to do a defense guide. Show when you can escape opponent combos and how

Are there any setting that let you use your grappling hook faster? Cuz when I use mine it takes for ever till I can use it
It's not a setting it's an upgradable talent skill
And you can stack multiple of them too
