That happend to me but on 26 November 2023. You can tell your friends about that to comfort you or your family. After a while you can get another budgie to relieve your saddens and be happy again. Condolences to you 🦜💗

Don’t try and force it, I got my budgie to eat carrots by putting tiny bits of carrot In their seed pot.

I give the budgies cucumber sliced and apple sliced sometimes spinach.

I need help or advice I have a 3 year old budgie and in the last 2 weeks he’s been wobbly on the perches and I have always let him out during the day to fly but now he’s been not flying properly he falls while flying or he flys into things he never did this before so I don’t know what is wrong I haven’t let him out because I don’t want him to get hurt
Maybe your budgie has only gained weight, but I would advise you to see a vet, just to be safe. Try to find a vet who specialises on birds, even if it's a longer trip, as they know so much more about budgies and can do a lot to help. I've tried giving our 2 budgies so much fruits&veggies. Only thing they will eat is apple. Can't get them to try anything else
