Nothing phone 2 and 2a is some time on 5g network and CMF phone 1 is on 4g network despite its a 5g device (as you know 5g is a big battery drainer "stupid")
I cant believe i really like cmf1. Changeable backs some attachments. Kinda hope pocos nords etc will make something like that with top soc. If that would drop prices under 1k of flagships id buy it in a flash. Wireless charhing for me is useless dont bath nor swim with phones and glass just adds weight and big chunk to easily shatter...only wins. Great video as usual.

Noticed the CMF was on 4G constantly while the 2 and 2a flickered between 4G(+) and 5G. Why the difference you think? Would've thought the modem would be similar with the two 7300s at least lol.
@@LoverOfTech I'm not surprised, it seems typical of their indoor coverage (Im on EE myself and used to work for their tech support team back in the old Orange days and it's always been an issue)
It was switching between 4G and 4G+, which, from my experience, will mean 10-20% better SOT versus 5G depending on the modem. With the native 1080p display saving around 12% battery versus QHD it is easy to understand why it did so well.

Well it could be configured in the settings. There's a thing called adaptive 5g or something like that and it makes the phone switch to 4g if the 5g signal is weak. And you can also force them to use a specific type of network.

Btw nothing phone 2a has a mediatek dimensity 7200 chipset and the cmf 1 has dimensity 7300 ... Both the processors are very different. In real time the dimensity 7200 is much more powerful and power efficient. In my opinion the dimensity 7200 is the best ever mid-range processor ever produced

Dude I can't control what signal strength I get indoors from my carrier network. Heck even the Phone 2 was 5G and dropped to 4G. I am there only person even bothering doing battery drain test on mobile data so just take it for what it is. Y'all are making me tired with all this nonsense

It's interesting to note the battery test showed the phones switching between 4G and 5G coverage so if it was tested only at 4G the test results would be different 🤔📱
Just to be fair this whole time phone 2A was on 5G whereas CMF phone was always on 4G and phone 2 was on 5g earlier then switched to 4G . If we take this into consideration phone 2a would have lasted extra 45 min to 1 hour

You can do a *#***#4636**#*#* in dialer and select NR only in the carrier selection. It will either stick to 5g network or may completely disable the network.
*CORRECTION* Nothing Phone 2a is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset and not 7300.
