@@daniel2gud unless both ditch lights are out, there's track work, or a danger to the crews and others, then the engineers should abide by the QZ rules. It's always fun to get some who break them though.
Nice video dude! Weird how 86 screwed you with the horn for that crossing, it has a solid-ass hybrid horn! Engineer in 463 on 580 sucked it up! Barely blew it! And 83 replaced 118 on the fleets? Bad trade-off!
The engineer on 86 must have been reaching down to get a dropped paper, I didn't see his head when he passed, he must have been distracted, anyway, nice video! Great shots!
In Europe, the barriers at railroad crossings are lowered much earlier than in the US - I consider it a big plus for your railways. Passenger trains in Europe are much longer and freight trains shorter than yours. Cool and interesting video, greetings from 🇵🇱 🇪🇺
He's not too close. He's fine.. The camera just makes it look that way. Everything is a little zoomed in.. And he has his shit on a tripod... He could be standing off to the side of it...
All these crossings are bound to go quiet soon. Idk why the first train didn't use the horn...
First train did
Second crossing the train used its horn
First train
Because it said no train horn
Train #2 is the same train with train #7
At 7:22 you can hear two guys saying get off the road

Question: Do some engineers not give a crap whether a quiet zone or not, and blow anyway?
(on this line)
I think it's illegal to blow in a quiet zone unless one ditch light isn't working

@ Surfliner462 By standing super close he gets better shots of the train. I still agree though with you 100%.
