I remembered being hyped about this announcement like it was yesterday, the movie was worth the wait

Number 1: It says Sonic. This means it will likely feature a speedy blue hedgehog.
Number 2: There is still the same Sonic shape in the C of Sonic as there was in the first film's logo.
Number 3: The game Sonic 2 was the first to feature Tails so it makes sense that the second movie will also feature him.
Number 4: There are 2 tails on the end of the 2, which is either a reference to the number 2 or Tails the Fox's twin tails.
Number 5: That yellow flash you see rolling across the screen at the start of the trailer is probably Tails.
Number 6: The words "Sonic the Hedgehog" are blue, just as Sonic himself is. Perhaps the fact that the 2 is yellow might be hinting at the fact that we might see Tails in this film.
Number 7: There are electric pulses running across the letters in Sonic's name, but not through the 2. This seems to imply that Tails doesn't have electric-type quills as Sonic does. Maybe this is because Tails is a fox and foxes don't have quills.
Number 8: Underneath the word "Sonic" it says "The Hedgehog", implying that Sonic is still a hedgehog.
Number 9: The background is black.
Number 10: The music playing in the background is a remix of Emerald Hill Zone from Sonic 2 the video game. Could this suggest that this film will go a similar direction and feature Tails?
Number 11: There is a flash of blue that streaks down across the title near the end of the trailer. This is probably Sonic.
Number 12: You can hear the ring sound effect in the trailer. This probably means that there will be rings in the film.
Number 13: Shortly after the ring sound effect, you can hear a sort of whirring sound, which sounds similar to Tails' tails spinning. Could this mean that Tails will fly in the film?
Number 14: The title is in the same font as it was in the last film, meaning that it will probably be made by the same people.
Number 15: The Tails on the number 2 look just like the Tails symbol on the Tornado in Sonic Adventure, as well as literally every other Tails symbol in the whole franchise.
Number 16: At the end it says "Coming to Theatres", which means it'll be coming to cinemas in the UK.
Number 17: It says it's coming out on the 8th of April, 2022. That means it's coming out 8 days into the 4th month of next year.
Number 18: The trailer is only 10 seconds long.
Number 19: The trailer mentions nothing of Dr Robotnik, but it probably mentions Jim Carrey in the Description so there's nothing to worry about there.
Number 20: Knuckles isn't mentioned at all in this trailer. I've watched it frame-by-frame, zoomed in on every individual pixel and turned up the brightness, I even played it in reverse to see if I could find any hint of him in this otherwise very rich and telling trailer. However, I saw nothing, and he remains unknown from me at the moment.

I personally feel that they should hold back on introducing Knuckles until the third movie for this very reason. For the second movie they should introduce Tails, Amy and Metal Sonic with Knuckles appearing in a mid credits cameo like in the first movie.

Tails was supposed to be the big new thing for sonic movie 2, but when knuckles was announced paramount basically forgot about him.
Picture Eggman in his course to return home, discovering Sonic's world and Tails came to Sonic for help to stop Eggman from taking over. A classic Sonic story

@@gilbert_shork3338 so there was a Sonic The Hedgehog 3 back in the day. But I think one of the systems introduced an add on attachment to the Sonic 3 game that allowed players to play as knuckles. So the “& Knuckles” was technically the first Add-On.... Sonic and knuckles was a direct sequel to Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 came out years later but it was very divisive.
