Full Concert of Baby Metal performing LIVE at Toyota Oakdale Theater Wallingford Connecticut.
Unfortunately, there were a few mishaps. 1st, I didn't record in 4K. Not sure what happened. And view to record this show got blocked by several people who chose to stand even though we were in the back. So I couldn't record as well as I would have liked.
But overall, a great show by Baby Metal. The only downside was they didn't play Maya which is my favorite live song by Baby Metal.
was in the pit up front, great show. I honestly enjoyed babymetal the most despite buying the ticket for dethklok.

That is a great question. I don't recall who was going where because I was trying to record the whole stage so to speak. That would have been funny if I recorded momoko try get out at the wrong exit 😅 🤣

I think she exited that way on purpose, as to address the fans on that side of the stage, Momoko has really come into her own now and is gaining LOVE by the minute ! I totally love her

Thank you so much for posting this. I went last night but because of some stupid issues regarding my ticket. They wouldn’t let me back in after the break and I couldn’t see babymetal play. Seeing this makes me feel so much better. Thank you again.

This is nice! I have some from this show on my channel from a different angle if you want to see. Did you notice Su's mic seemed to be having a lot of issues? I was on the left side of the place.
Yes, her mic 🎤 had drop outs here & there. Could be wireless signal interference. Gonna check out your videos now. Thanks Jason 👍🏻

Oh, sorry to hear that. I guess you need parents' consent and somebody to bring you to the concert. When I started going, I was probably 15. You will get to see them on the next tour b.c BabyMetal will keep growing better & better!

Deathcock was one of the worst opening acts I have ever seen. Totally inappropriate sexual suggestive video scenes NOT for kids

*Thank you for posting! I was at this show. I've been in the music business for over 30 years and have seen many concerts. Babymetal is tops! However the light production for this concert was totally bogus. Almost every song including the opening acts were obscured by blinding lights. Also the audio was too loud for the opening acts. That's a big No-No when the opening acts have the same volume as the headliner The light show was definitely not presented right* 😮
Hi Alizee 👋 thanks for your input about this show. I agree the opening act was getting the same Volume/Loudness as BabyMetal. Dethklok was just as loud as BabyMetal. I heard Dethklok is headlining other shows like tonight 9/12th. So maybe they are giving equal volume.
As for the lights, I had no complaints from my vantage point, but you know better at these technical aspects of the show ... I'm sure it could have been improved 👍🏻
Thanks Uncle, THE OPENING ACTs are NEVER supposed to be as loud or louder than the Headliner, I think the production crew had do this purposely..maybe they favored Dethcock . Kobametal is not happy camper I bet @@UncleYoshi
I agree about the lights shining in one's eyes. I was in the second row of seats after the floor and it seemed they were going straight into my face. Also agree about the volume. The first act especially was not interesting in the first place and those drums were way too loud. I was disappointed by some of the mic issues but she came thru most of the time.
@Defan Sorry for the late reply but Dethklok was not the opening act; both Babymetal and Dethklok were co-headling the tour. They took turns playing before each other depending on the concert.

Just a set the record straight the female guitarist they were using that night for the opening act Dethclok was none other than Nili Brosh the LED lights were so blinding hand into the crowd most people didn't even know it was a female .
My brother who was at the show questioned "is that a girl guitarist playing?" I couldn't tell ...

Ahh glad u commented b.c I couldn't see what was happening in the pit from my seats. Was there a decent amount of people moshing? If so, I wanted to recorded that action!
@@UncleYoshi tbh, I was so focused on the stage and like 3rd back from the fence that I didn't notice much moshing other than Papaya and Road of Resistance.
@jlucsol1947 that's good you focused on the stage up close. A lot of BabyMetal fans don't get such an opportunity, so they love to hear how American fans are enjoying Baby Metal 👍🏻

Ah they're so good! Is it just me or does the crowd seem a bit restricted in terms of movement? Not sure if by choice or if the venue had specific rules in place to stop moshing, etc.? Im sure it may have been better in person!
Hi 👋 Jonathan, most of the venue had seats so that's 1 restriction. There was a sign saying no moshing. Then said mosh at your own risk. The floor close to the stage was GA standing room so they could have been moshing but I couldn't see from my vantage point. Overall, it was an excellent show!
They had a mini version of that ‘Russian circle’ going on. In stadium shows ive seen from abroad, these giant mosh circles can be seen, including double circles with both circles moving in opposite direction. The Oakdale mosh section was tight and small. Not enough space to get a running start into somebody. There was a giant BabyMetal screen shout that said “ MOSH!” And I only saw a few drunk guys bouncing off each other.

Yea, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Has an auto focus & stabilize option for the camera. But I shook a lot trying to find a good angle. Wish people didn't stand b.c they blocked our view 😒

I love how she sounds in monochrome, I know her mic had issues, but I think it made it sound better.

Why it seems I can hear a layered voice in Su vocal in Monochrome? Do you hear it also or not?
I think there were some backup vocals blending with Su's voice. Her mic 🎤 sometimes had issues but only a brief moment. Wireless mics 🎤 sometimes have drop outs. I'll watch & listen for it carefully on my desktop later & get back to you 👍🏻
They use backing tracks in some songs for Su. Sometimes it's turned up, probably because her voice wasn't doing so great this day. You can tell here on Megitsune that she was struggling a bit.
@@Hattori_F BabyMetal played the night before so back to back performances can be demanding.
I think they played backing track for Monochrome in some parts - mostly choruses. From what I heard, volume of backing track’s vocal was very small, Su overpowered it so the majority of what I heard is still her live vocal and it’s so good, backing track is not needed at all.

Yes, those who left probably left b.c death Metal fans. BabyMetal is Kawaii Metal, so it's not the best fit.
Yes, Dethklok was not a suitable act for little kids also
