Brother Buck and I try our hand at the boomerang on the flying game. I threw out a few arrows as well and some birds died to feed the hungry and entertain you.
I think boomerang hunters mainly snuck up on farmers, knocked them out with the boomerang and stole their livestock that's the only effective hunting I could imagine with a boomerang
It’s a cool thought, but it has bone-breaking force, they used it to hunt creatures like in this video.ua-cam.com/video/BtsGsF-50uo/v-deo.htmlsi=Ahwk7ok-DgLp4H1v
Those boomerangs climb and stall too soon. Make some with more of a bend and off set the bend a bit from the center to make it wobble side to side. The wobbling will confuse the prey as to which way to go to dodge it. Birds see color good too so I would paint some green and yellow for the parrots and some grey, black and white for the pigeons so they don't notice it inbound until it's too late. I used to make my own out of hickory planks when I lived in Texas to take out grackles with when they were swarming fields. I could hit two or 3 with one throw of my wobbling ones that I painted black and if I missed there was a good chance it would come back to me sometimes coming back through the flock for another try depending on the wind so I didn't have to chase it as far.
I saw something similar in Australia. The boomerang would suddenly break upwards. If it missed, it would carry back towards the thrower. The way the guy explained was that the straight flying boomerang would be thrown towards and above the flock causing it to change directions and slow a bit. The 'returning' boomerangs are then thrown just under as they would suddenly break upwards.
*Tim Wells Bow Hunter* Yeah, so good-ol Boomerang Buck better trade in for something else, lolooo. Thanks fellas for taking the time to bring us along. God Bless.
He walks just like my grandma going into the local grocery. Same aged flat a$% as well. No lie I just had flashbacks of my dead grandmother. :10 and forward I'm dying! Haha
You'd be surprised back when it was the most valuable skill a man could have to accurately throw spears at large game and rabbit sticks at small game just how good people can be at things.
parakeets here in the south of brasil are also extremely common you can find huge flocks even in cities. Of course not close to that size but you can find groups of 10-20 birds if you’re lucky
We've all seen Tim and Buck make shots that seemed impossible. We've also seen them shoot into a field with more animals than ground and miss everything. There's a good lesson in there...
I've seen a boomerang kill before. Not into a flock of birds but a single static rabbit. I honestly thought it'd just stun it but dead as a doornail. The man was in his 70s. And had been hand tuning these boomerangs all his life Looked more like an l shape rather than the wide v shape cold steel has. Gorgeous hardwoods laminated together. One throw could go 400 yards.
@ Tim Wells Bow hunter . Is there any chance of you hunting a polar bear in the future?that seems like it would be a great hunting trip an overall cool experience to see you have ❤.
It is a bit unnerving to watch the parakeets perish, considering i own one. But i understand they are a nuisance and a pest, this will help the ecosystem to thrive. very entertaining!
Hi Tim, Noongar/Ngadju man here from Australia here, please can you ask Buck to join this thread do I can share my knowledge with him for successful hunting the 'Kerl - Karli' thank you
Hey Tim love the Arial bow shooting of bird. What's it run to go to Argentina and hunt? Keep up the awesome work on the video's and love everyone of them. Stay safe and save some for the rest of us.
Didn't the Australian natives hunt Kangaroo with boomerangs? Probably be able to hunt rabbits with them all day long. Basically is a rabbit stick anyway. Birds on the wing just have to good of reflexes ..unless Tim's shooting at them with a bow that is lol. Yeah Buck would fit right in with our ancestors 😆.
Boomerang: noun a bent or curved piece of tough wood used by Australian Aboriginal peoples as a throwing club, one form of which can be thrown so as to return to the thrower. Don't think I saw one return to Buck.
What do you call a boomerang that does not come back when you throw it......? : A Stick Seem Buck was throwing sticks.... none flew like a boomerang .... ;)
Buck throws a stick pretty good! Maybe he should try a boomerang. And NOT ORANGE! a DULLcolor. And MAYBE... don't throw the stick into them or in front of them, but throw it PROPERLY AS CLOSE to the same direction as they were flying. Thrown properly it will skim along the ground, then rocket upwards surprising them. I think birds USUALLY get attacked from Above while in flight. Jmho.
Tim, what I really want to know is how many cows did you slock? Come on, tell the truth man, and were they good eating? Thanks for another great video!
Why not just throw some rocks because, just like your boomerangs, they don't come back either. Weigh a lot less, too. Stupid is as stupid does. I learnt that in some movie or other.
Those boomerangs appear to be pretty heavy, and I'm certainly not trying to be overly critical because I love you guys and all of the great content, but if you learned how to properly throw that boomerang overhanded, you'd be a lot more successful, and....it would come back to you when you missed !!!
I think boomerang hunters mainly snuck up on farmers, knocked them out with the boomerang and stole their livestock that's the only effective hunting I could imagine with a boomerang
Lol🤣
Hahaha
Yeah for real
It’s a cool thought, but it has bone-breaking force, they used it to hunt creatures like in this video.ua-cam.com/video/BtsGsF-50uo/v-deo.htmlsi=Ahwk7ok-DgLp4H1v
Yeah but rabbit sticks fly straight and are very effective against small anaimals
many of our ancestors even looked like buck! that was good one
😂

Yeah, birds are used to dodging aerial attacks too.
Look at this: the wedge war club. This thing flys straigth and is heavy enough to kill on longer distance.

Buck might have better luck throwing 2x4's than those boomerangs he's got.
Tim: sure I'll hunt Alligators bears and Elk with a blow gun
Also Tim: *sees Buck hunt with boomerangs* that's a bit too farfetched for me
gold
*Tim Wells Bow Hunter* Yeah, so good-ol Boomerang Buck better trade in for something else, lolooo. Thanks fellas for taking the time to bring us along. God Bless.
Those boomerangs were Ass
"While I was slocking pigeons and parakeets, buck was chopping down a tree" Had me rolling 😂😂😂
what
It's a good thing boomerangs come back. Anyone dependent on one for food wouldn't have enough meat in their belly to keep chasing them down🤣😂
Been watching Tim for years and I’m still baffled how he makes these shots
This is the bird sanctuary on the planet 😂🤣😂
Ya gotta make them boomerangs clear instead of orange. The can see that bright orange coming giving the birds a chance to scatter.
Watching y'all fling those boomerangs, I could just hear my grandpa's voice... "Y'all don't hit mah van"
Tim, still the BEST videos! Love when i get notified !!
I've never heard a dove so chirpy nor seen that unique silhouette.
I’m surprised he has such a hard time with the boomerang. I’ve had near misses with birds dozens of times with my drone😂
He walks just like my grandma going into the local grocery. Same aged flat a$% as well. No lie I just had flashbacks of my dead grandmother. :10 and forward I'm dying! Haha
Lol Buck sounded like Jeramiah johnson speakin to the Indians, everytime he spoke to Diago lol "Yes?" Yes, "very good" 😂
All a Boomarang is a STICK THAT DOESNT COME BACK.
Maybe a smaller boomerang? Faster and farther?Just cool to be hunting with 1! Eat what you get!
You launch a beautiful arrow.!!! Love your vids mr wells!!!!!
I dont think there has ever been someone that was actually good with a boomerang
You'd be surprised back when it was the most valuable skill a man could have to accurately throw spears at large game and rabbit sticks at small game just how good people can be at things.
The title fooled me, I thought you were going to hunt a buck with a boomerang, lol , but I'm not disappointed.
Family...you don't have to like them, you just have to love them.
He’s throwing them upside down 🤣😂
I got one from some museum when i was little. It never came back except the one time where it hit me right in the chin and broke chunk of my tooth.
Need to come to Australia for boomerang lessons.

Good job my brother👍👍😍
@ Tim Wells Bow hunter . Is there any chance of you hunting a polar bear in the future?that seems like it would be a great hunting trip an overall cool experience to see you have ❤.
Maybe camo the boomerang and paint Buck orange so you don't loose him.
I hope buck doesn't play the lottery lol u would think with all those birds flying around he would get one of them.
It is a bit unnerving to watch the parakeets perish, considering i own one. But i understand they are a nuisance and a pest, this will help the ecosystem to thrive. very entertaining!
Great vid Tim always great to get the notifications of more pursuits can we get a spear special
I'm near 50 but when I grow up I wanna be just like Buck.
His shoulders gotta be sorr as hell the next day,he aint no spring chicken.
Those cows are lucky they didn’t get goose eggs on their heads from those stray boomerangs.
How does Buck stay so big? He should be around 110 lbs for wasn't that much energy and not getting anything.
Buck's arm sore ??? LOL Them boomerangs do better if they were 1/2 that size.
Lol " rumor has it, hunter who relied soley on the boomerang.........starved to death "
Hi slockmaster , you are so cool and I love your blowgun
ANOTHER VERY GOOD VIDEO
That's a crazy comb over!
Hi Tim, Noongar/Ngadju man here from Australia here, please can you ask Buck to join this thread do I can share my knowledge with him for successful hunting the 'Kerl - Karli' thank you
Real Uncle Rico vibes- Ask Napoleon Dynamite. The boomerangs weren't boomeraning.
Hey Tim love the Arial bow shooting of bird.

Keep up the awesome work on the video's and love everyone of them.
Stay safe and save some for the rest of us.
If a boomerang does't come back, it's a stick.
Those boomerangs seem to be bright orange so you can find them, since they don't come back.
I think, changing the colour of the boomerang will help
Very nice !!!!!
This buck guy is a trip
He's throwing a bent stick. Boomerangs are aerodynamically designed to return.
Cool more please
it's probably best to hunt with a group of boomerang hunters
I thought the boomerangs were meant to return to thrower?? He’s just throwing sticks by the looks of it…. 😅😅😅
Maybe hunt rabbit with that boomerang bet he could get one like that would have been awesome if he would have got a few birds though
Boomerang: noun
a bent or curved piece of tough wood used by Australian Aboriginal peoples as a throwing club, one form of which can be thrown so as to return to the thrower.
Don't think I saw one return to Buck.
I once got a quail with a frisbee. Not much meat on that.
Difference is, the size of the flocks in nth east Arnhem land can blacken the Sky in front of you and only ten to twenty yards away at times.
What do you call a boomerang that does not come back when you throw it......? : A Stick

a blueish
Buck, the boomerangs were apparently not used for protein procurement.
G'day from Australia 👋 ✌
tim i hate to spoil your boomerang huntn buddys cover but he needs to paint them sticks stick color, either that or strap em to an arrow and letem fly
Why didn't buck throw the boomerangs so they came around back to him? Thanks for the video.
That boomerang ain’t it Buck, that dude Tim out there giving them birds the blues.
Buck rocks !
I'm writing in Tim for president next time, juss say'n...
very entertaining mate
Should try using a disk golf long range driver
Parakeet. Thats crazy
just because you miss, doesn't mean they did.
If it comes back Tim it ain't a killer boomerang they go straight and kill a 100 lb red roo
Buck’s boomerang 🪃 didn’t come back
this cracks me up
Why aren't Bucks "Boomerangs" coming back?
Tim, what I really want to know is how many cows did you slock? Come on, tell the truth man, and were they good eating? Thanks for another great video!
Aren’t boomerangs suppose to come back?
Don't shoot the farmers cow lol
Buck better luck next time lol
Why not just throw some rocks because, just like your boomerangs, they don't come back either. Weigh a lot less, too. Stupid is as stupid does. I learnt that in some movie or other.
No Oneida? Interesting.
Boomerangs use to come back thats the trick u throw it and on the return it lips the prey item
Yep, I'm sure buck would of starved as a primitive hunter. He would of probably turned to gardening eventually. With the woman and children.
Isn’t a boomerang supposed to come back to you
iam affraid buck cant throw a boomarang

Yeah it looks like he is throwing it backwards.
He didn’t hit shit
@@skubasteveskilla3316 He gave it hell though...🤣
Someone’s quoting Jeremiah Johnson.
#1 👍🙂
best on magpie geese in arnemland
I think this is a great channel but this is literally just a shorten version of a video you posted 5 years ago. It’s the exact same video.
They all starved to death!!!
CANADA ❤ TIM
Buck needs a day job so his family can eat.
I breed quaker parrots. I sell them $330 -$800 each.
I reckon to you it must be looked like billion dollars falling in the air and some of hundreds dollars getting torn & wasted. :D
👊🏽👽👍🏽
Need to camo dye his blonde hair. Lol
Y are you reposting all the videos?
man is too old and probably dying, serves him right.
