Why Im Not Feeding My Bees This Spring ( March 2021 )

The Open feeding from what I have experienced does stimulate them better than in hive feeding. What I would also do is periodically leave a honey frame out and let them rob it out and clean it so you have empty built comb for later use.

Yeah I agree I'm really liking the open feeding better it's a shame I spent all that money on high top feeders

Vince, I am on the same page this year. The girls appear to have plenty left over from last year. I'd like them to use it up leaving them with empty comb ready for spring. If I feed now I think they'll just get plugged up. Not to mention it's less work and money for me.
