Hey I don't have a stone guide yet but I can leave a quick comment to help.
I have 3 builds that I mainly use atm, but there's more I want to make too.
All of my builds use 9xlevel 6 blues in armor (81% damage reduction), with hero perk for those which have you'll reach the 90% cap allowing you to exclude DR in the awake removals.
Hybrid build: 2blue 2green 1red 1purple, can use this build if you want to farm quicker and stack poison too (round 1 or 5).
Full poison with tent build: 2blue 3green 1purple. I'll mostly use this build on rounds 1/3/5, as engi on round 1 to stack and kill boss, round 3 mobs are immune to fire anyways so this build works well, round 5 I'll mostly use this build, to max stacking speed, also assuming the other player will reflect mobs to death to farm xp.
Fire build: 6red. Use this build on round 2/4, assuming your partner also has at least 1k% fire build. Mobs are immune to poison so efficiency is maxed by removing poison and using only fire. Mobs die quick and boss can be stacked with fire (the same as poison when 1k% or higher). Slow attacking (or no multishot/multihitting heroes eg Anubis, frozen Queen etc) heroes will not stack will without tentacles, optimally you'll also have a 5r1b build for that situation. Also a tentacle helps if you're playing torment too to activate the debuff. Note that the boss has less resistance vs fire than poison. Fire stacks deal 0.2x base damage/reflect/mummy aura per stack, poison only deals 0.1, but also in AM the boss has only 70% resistance to fire compared to 80% poison resistance. This means that only 333 fire stacks = 1k poison stacks equivalent making fire very powerful. In the video you can see I stack 1k fire with efreet, this is actually the same as having 3k poison stacks.
Hybrid 2: 2blue 1green 3red. I really don't use this build often at all, its a waste of a loadout slot but I just havent changed it yet. I do have a use for it though: on 2/4 when my partner is using a hero like plaguedoc or beetle with fire build they'll also apply poison even if they're using a full fire build due to hero awakening. I use this build to utilise both poison and fire stacks. But this build should be 5red1green to be optimal. Its just a build I have made out of the current stones/items I have :)
Other good builds I don't have yet:
5red 1purple: great for rounds 1/5, quick killing of mobs and also boss as long as your teammate can stack fire or you have a capable stacker that doesn't need tentacle (engineer for example)
5red 1blue, as mentioned before some heroes need a tentacle as they have only an individual hit per attack. Anubis is another example of where a tentacle is needed for stack of buff, torment to apply debuff, etc
If you're just starting abyssal and you don't have the gems or builds yet:
"all rounder" build (it's incredibly inefficient) use the hybrid build. You "can" use it on all rounds and kill the bosses, but it will take a while to clear abyss like this. (max defence stones as you can in armor, 1red 2green, 2blue, 1purple). This is an extremely basic build to scrape through abyss, it's not easy but that's how you can start out if you don't have the resources to make proper builds yet.
Special mention: Full dodge build: on 2/4 someone can swap 9x blues in armor for 9x reds for max dodge (also using fire build in weapons) Still 10% chance to get hit but it's better to farm xp/stack with. Do not use dodge if you're reflecting :D

in this video both 2/4 were 1350% fire with 2x 20% AS on gear. Efreet is better with tent fire set if you got it though

Once you have over 1000% fire it will begin to stack (6x level 6 red powerstones = 1350% fire = 3.5 stacks added per hit)

Made a quick video, but all you need to do is click play, then turn Internet off a few seconds after queuing and wait a min and then it will ask if you want to play solo :)

Most of these ppl probably dont even have AM unlocked yet asking to be carried lol. Join a clan and you can turn yourself into a bookbag and be carried to school for full education of HR AM.
