Harriet (so far) seems so much more likable than in the book and other adaptations that I've seen. Usually she's irritating and not smart, I love that Harriet just seems genuinely aloof about somethings, but she's not dumb :)
Harriet, you are amazing! And btw, stop following Emma's fashion tips. Her style may be fabulous on HER, but you look so much more confident and comfortable with yourself the way you are here.
EA episode 72 (the last one): Emma:- 'It seems like only yesterday you were teetering in heels, and now you're standing tall in them.' I cry for the end of this series, and the beautiful woman Harriet has become.
I miss this Harriet and her cute style. She just looks fake and uncomfortable in Emma's style of clothes on top of trying to act all forceful. Harriet, you are wonderful just the way you are! Don't think you have to turn into an Emma clone to be successful and happy.
Can't wait to see what other sort of content will be available on this channel. So far EA is less interactive than LBD as Emma is addressing a future audience, not a current one. We shall see...
I tried to start this series, but despite Alex's hotness, I didn't like Emma. She was very brash and pretty stuck up, but I'm glad I gave this a second chance because Harriet is so precious! :)
Becky Silverman Don't worry! Emma is meant to be unlikeable. Her character grows the most over the series, and I'm sure you'll love her by the end. I didn't like this series at first because of her either. :/
Gwentipede Yeah I just read the Austen quote about her being the only person that would like her... I'm also glad they put her up beside Caroline Lee because it showed me that while unconsciously I might have thought she was like Caroline, Emma is a bit of an elitist but Caroline is a SNOB.
Milktea I did not find her unlikable and disagree that she is intended to be unlikable. I loved this from the start because of her personality, not despite it. She is confident and generous. She wants the best for herself and others around her. I would say it's intended to be a romantic comedy.
It could be a promise ring or purity ring. They started Emma before where the book starts, which means they could modify how the story starts a bit. I could see Emma deciding Harriets current beau isn't worthy of her affections and encouraging her to let him go. Which then starts the sad go at matchmaking. Or Harriets job interferes with her relationship and he lets Harriet go. Though the purity ring may make sense if Elton is church inclined, making them a seemingly good match.
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing but a woman who fears the lord she shall be praised give her of the fruit of her hands and let her own works praise her in the gates ......ECCLESIASTES
Yeah I could see that, but not what I was thinking. It's specifically the voice too. Like maybe she's done a cartoon voiceover. I really don't know, but I probably won't quit trying to figure it out...
Why, why is she so familiar? I looked at her IMDB and I've never seen anything else she was in. But dang, I've seen this actress somewhere and recently. Specifically the voice though. She speaks similarly to the actress that played Gigi, but really...I've seen this one somewhere. Oh it's gonna drive me nuts.
Not that I'm saying that's what Harriet wants to be, but I imagined I wanted to be a librarian when I was younger. I LOVED the library and reading. I wanted to LIVE in the library! lol. Still kind of do. But is it true that they need to have amazing memories? Because mine kind of sucks.

Is it weird that I actually want to save this as inspiration for future job applications?
+Tarneem Nafady Not at all, I was thinking the same
+Tarneem Nafady Am using it atm for an assistant wedding planner position o.o :D gotta pull inspiration from somewhere.
I'm using it now!!
Harriet, you are amazing! And btw, stop following Emma's fashion tips. Her style may be fabulous on HER, but you look so much more confident and comfortable with yourself the way you are here.
I kind of love her hair here.. doesn't look oily on top/dry on bottom... it looks nice.. natural.. no weird bangs..
I can't believe it took me so long to find this video, but I like modern Harriet a lot better now that I have.
I feel like she seems so much more confident here! Glad she's starting to regain some of that confidence.
She is a great Harriet, insecure, young and really kind of raw material. Love to see more of her
EA episode 72 (the last one): Emma:- 'It seems like only yesterday you were teetering in heels, and now you're standing tall in them.' I cry for the end of this series, and the beautiful woman Harriet has become.
She is perfectly Harriet.
I miss this Harriet and her cute style. She just looks fake and uncomfortable in Emma's style of clothes on top of trying to act all forceful. Harriet, you are wonderful just the way you are! Don't think you have to turn into an Emma clone to be successful and happy.
I've only just started this series and now I'm worried O.O
I love how she actually wants to help people for the people, not for her own sense of accomplishment like Emma does.
HARRIET YOUR HAIR WAS BETTER THIS WAY GURL
she would be such a good anime voice
She is seriously the perfect Harriet. I am so excited for this character.
I love how they take characters that I never really liked (eg. lydia & Harriet) and make them awesome and lovable. :)
Omg this is so perfect! Just... the way they keep doing these characters is so great and I love it.
I LOVE Harriet. I can't wait to see more of her in future episodes!
I prefer Harriet without the bangs...but she also looks more mature with them.
Interesting to see the contrast between Harriet here and when she is with Emma. Which is kudos to the actor, :)
Harriet is so enthusiastically adorable!!
Awww she makes me smile.
she's lovely omg i want to hug her
Well now we know, that this channel wasn't abandoned! Harriet's personality looks nice :D
Very promising start for Harriet. Can't wait to see the interaction between her and Emma.
aww she is so precious!! I already love her more than Harriet in the book
She's so much prettier like this!!
I love how Harriet at the end stays smiling into the camera without talking trying to look like Emma.
She's so perfect I can't even
She's so pretty!
Harriet is a gem c:
So happy with this Harriet!
Harriet can be book smart but not street smart. Intelligent people can stil be innocent and manipulable.
TWO VIDEOS!? YESSSS
Doe eyed, hopeful, naive. Oh Harriet. You really will be the perfect pet for Emma.
Awww she's adorable omg

THIS IS THE ONLY HARRIET IN ANY ADAPTATION THAT I ADORE. OH HARRIET. BRACE YOURSELF.
I'm still not conviced by Emma and Knightley, but she is just such a perfect Harriet !
She's just the cutest thing! I'm in love!
She and Jane should meet and become best friends.
I also think the fact that she admires emma so much and thinks she's making the world a better place in itself shows a little bit of her sillyness!
Oh, Harriet. Emma doesn't want to make the world a better place. Emma wants to make EMMA'S WORLD a better place.
I love you Harriet!
Her depiction of Harriet Smith reminds me of Louise Dylan's adaptation from 2009 BBC Mini-series of Emma. Meaning, its great!
HARRIET! She's so perfect.
no worries harriet i think you got the job and you'll be emma approved
I tried to start this series, but despite Alex's hotness, I didn't like Emma. She was very brash and pretty stuck up, but I'm glad I gave this a second chance because Harriet is so precious! :)

She wasn't stupid, she was naive and unconnected. She wasn't completely dumb.
I can't wait for Harriet to find out about Emma's meddling in the future. I wonder what angry/hurt Harriet will be like.
She's so adorable.

Given all the research she's doing right now for Save the Wedding, I hope so too!
Okay, I actually hope those random facts she knows end up being plot centric. That would be so cool :)
This makes me really interested to see how they're going to portray Robert Martin.
Harriet, you are delightful. I like you more after watching this video application than I did watching your impromptu interview with dear Emma.
I like her a lot--the perfect contrast to Emma's uppityness.
She's so cute!!
She's perfect! :) I want to hug her, she's soooo cute! ^^
I love her more than I love Emma.
Oh. My. God. Can she be more perfect??
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing but a woman who fears the lord she shall be praised give her of the fruit of her hands and let her own works praise her in the gates ......ECCLESIASTES
. . . Are they ever going to post any other videos on this channel?
I like her better without the makeup
that's true! i suppose they had to adapt it and make it more believable.
Actually this is probably the actor's audition!
Yeah I could see that, but not what I was thinking. It's specifically the voice too. Like maybe she's done a cartoon voiceover. I really don't know, but I probably won't quit trying to figure it out...

HIRE HER, EMMA.
Either she's really that sincere and gullible a character, or she's got an ulterior motive...hmm...Will be interesting to see.
I wouldn't be friends with her in real life, but she's pretty much adorable.

But she really is. Just because she's book smart doesn't mean anything when she's willing to be a doormat for Emma.
Harriet is so sweet :)
I think it's so funny that most people don't know that! Cher is just as annoying yet lovable like Emma!
"Everything I read kind of stays in my brain." Wow, Harriet, you are ME. Except way more eager. Which is not a bad thing!
HOW DO THINGS STAY IN YOUR BRAIN PLEASE TELL ME sincerely, a college student with a paper due soon.
HOW DID I NOT SEE THIS THIS MORNING??!!! =D
SHE IS SO CUTE
my sweet beloved harriet
she reminds me of alicia silverstone from clueless. she looks so strangely similar to her when alicia silverstone was in clueless.
Her eyebrows are so expressive LOL
Harriet is annoyingly adorable.
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!
I think Harriet is wearing the same style of necklace as Emma.
Awesome :)
I love Harriet
Such pretty eyes
awwwh shes so cute! :p
Did the world really need more cracks about how the blind "can't" do anything?
Harriet is totes adorbs
THE ADORBS
IS THAT PILLOW FROM JCP?! Because I work in the home department and we have those pillooooows!
awwww i love her already : ]
literally harriet is me and i am her
Did the people who think she's to smart catch the Lacrosse team for the blind part?
SHE SO CUTE I'm GONNA DIE
And she's a genius! I didn't expect that!
Ily Harriet
That poor naive girl
She sounds and looks super similar to the chick who played Boo on Bunheads, is that what you're thinking of?
