- What do you do when you wish you were camping but you aren't? I suggest you go overloading on your patio by bringing out your outdoor cooking tools and put them to good use! In this episode we are doing just that by pulling out a couple Snow Peak cooking tools and putting them to work smoking some mushrooms and grilling some black bean burgers-so come along and see what we are up to.

You might’ve convinced me to get it the smokemeister and really making me want the BBQ box. I have the snow peak L takibi grill with all the attachments and I love it to death. Great video! Those black bean burgers look delicious.
Sadly the Single BBQ Box is now discontinued I have discovered. The Smokemeister is 20% off today I believe from Snow Peak. I might suggest however that if you love the large takibi you might check out my video on the new Floga attachment for that pit. Might make it a tough choice on where to allocate the money! I just picked up the new Takibi Solo (video on my channel) that is similar size to the BBQ box but no cover which you might find interesting. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for dropping by the patio-yes it is a pretty cool little design. Due to the size it is primarily for small bites or food used in different recipes but for camping it is extremely portable and you can just use embers from the fire.
There aren't many reviews for this smoker and I found yours incredibly helpful and ended up buying one. Can't wait to smoke some chicken. Thanks for the review! Subbed!
Thanks for watching. I think you will enjoy the new toy. There is a bit of a learning curve so take your time and you will get it. I think it is a neat tool to be able to smoke when you would not have thought about doing it before.

I did forget the beef this time, and didn't miss it at all. As a side note I think the Smokemeister is a perfect size to smoke up some squirrel!

Please pardon my ignorance but would the BBQ box also be a substitute as a smoker ? Thinking of a dual usage grill/smoker if the BBQ grill can be a smoker as well.
It sort of would but the ability to keep the food off of direct heat would mean the cooking surface would be pretty small. Also not sure how long a cook time you would get, I have never tried that to see. Neither of the cookers is really set up to cook large amounts of food though. I have put some wood pellets in the BBQ box and put the lid on to generate a bit of smoke and that has worked fine. I guess I have an assignment!

Thanks again for all your online reviews, I enjoyed them and planned to learn some cooking skills from your channel as well.
@@Luckystudio13 Take some time to get to know how it works and how to keep the temp where you want it, how much wood etc at first and I always wrap the catch tray in tin foil to keep it clean. And it does come with a carry bag, not the heavy canvas available for some products but it works fine.
